Permalink US military analyst: China knows a cunning way to defeat America

Elena Panina (Елена Панина) | US military analyst: China knows a cunning way to defeat America 💬 "Destroy the logistics fleet and there is little the US Armed Forces can do in the Western Pacific without sufficient and regular supplies of everything from fuel to ammunition to food," notes James Holmes, head of the Maritime Strategy Department at the US Naval War College.  According to the expert, "In this cunning way, China could win the war against America" as logistics is the centre of gravity for the US military. 💬 "China could not engage in an apocalyptic battle, but simply destroy US logistics," Holmes believes. - This is Beijing's risk-free path to victory in the Taiwan Strait, the South China Sea and the East China Sea. It would deprive US forces in these theater areas of adequate reinforcements and the ability to meet commitments to Asian allies."   Stretched supply chains are a standard vulnerability for a hegemon that seeks to control the entire world. Apparently, this is why US analysts are considering the preventive deployment of US troops in Taiwan and the island's development of its own MIC through close cooperation with the Pentagon's defence contractors.  However, the U.S. establishment can cut logistics in another, less costly way. To do so, it could simply return to its original understanding of the Monroe Doctrine - and focus solely on the Americas. Which would mean voluntarily giving up world hegemony.  But the elite of the United States are not yet ready for this. It will be able to come to this idea only through a series of major U.S. defeats - in the Indo-Pacific, in the Middle East, and, of course, in Europe. (DeepL.com)

Permalink Foul-mouthed Ukrainian "diplomat" tells Scholz what he ought to do

A Ukrainian diplomat notorious for his combative attitude towards Germany during his tenure as ambassador in Berlin, has urged Chancellor Olaf Scholz to issue an ultimatum to Russia. | A tweet challenging the German leader to do more for Ukraine was posted by Andrey Melnik, now a Deputy Foreign Minister, on Monday. The diplomat, who was promoted last week, dismissed Scholz's demand that Russia “end the war” against Ukraine, calling it “mere words”. 💬 “Russia understands only strength. Give [Russian President Vladimir] Putin an ultimatum. With painful consequences,” Melnik told the chancellor, without specifying the exact terms of the proposed threat. He added a picture of himself in a T-shirt against the backdrop of a snow-covered landscape, making a V-sign with his hand.  Melnik became notorious for his style of communication during his stint as the Ukrainian envoy to Berlin. At one point, he called Chancellor Scholz “an offended liverwurst” for his taking issue with Kiev’s negative attitude toward German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.  As ambassador, Melnik was critical of what he called Berlin’s insufficient support of his country, and directed strongly worded rebukes at many other German officials and public figures. Among his targets were those who wondered why his adult son was living in Germany instead of joining the Ukrainian army to fight Russia. When politician Ezgi Guyildar from Die Linke party asked that question last month, Melnik stated that she belonged to a 💬 “pro-Putin, Stalinist, inhuman, heartless, horrible” political force, adding a few personal insults.

Permalink Pentagon chief comments on Ukraine commitment

The US will continue to send weapons to Kiev until it retakes the territory it claims as its own, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said | US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has said that while Washington has already sent tens of billions of dollars worth of military assistance to Ukraine, it will continue to ship more for as long as it takes Kiev to capture all territory it claims to be under its sovereignty. 💬 “I think you know that to this point we’ve provided over $20 billion worth of assistance to Ukraine,” he said. “We’ll continue to support Ukraine for as long as it takes.”   The Pentagon chief reiterated American commitments to Ukraine on Monday, during a joint press conference with his Indonesian counterpart, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto. Austin is visiting Indonesia before traveling to Cambodia. The US official was responding to a question about the upcoming winter season in Europe and what this will mean for hostilities in Ukraine. The US has done “a lot” to prepare Ukrainian troops for harsh conditions, Austin replied, adding that he expected the Ukrainians to be 💬 “in much better condition than their adversaries because of the things that we’ve provided them.”

Permalink RE: The New York Times' Reaction to the Horrifying Footage of the Shooting of Russian Prisoners of War

Объясняет Readovka | Speaking of the reaction of the international press to the horrifying footage of the shooting of Russian prisoners of war, we would like to pay particular attention to the rhetoric used. The NYT article is full of vile assumptions: "Probably shot at close range", "The video raises questions about whether Ukraine is committing war crimes".  Mention is also made of the fact that the video was first circulated on Ukrainian networks, where it received exceptionally positive reactions. There is no condemnation of what is happening in the article and there can be none, as for the western average person it just "provokes a discussion" All sorts of incomplete observers have not noticed the crimes for years, and if anything has come to their attention, it is only "probably" and "not everything is so clear-cut". Ukraine today is a weapon against Russia, and to raise it as an analogue of the banned ISIS is a goal for which the West is prepared to turn a blind eye.  What should Russia do when the conventions are silent? Realise that we can only hope for ourselves, and that in the dark night that surrounds us, only our victory will bring light. (Translation: DeepL.com)

Permalink Doctor explains in 2 minutes why so many vaccinated young people die during sports

There are many reports of young vaccinated people dropping dead during sports. This is not surprising, Dr Richard Urso told Bright Light News. VIDEO | During exercise, the so-called tight junctions relax, allowing lipid nanoparticles to pass through them and reach the cell wall of the heart. That's much more difficult if you don't move, says Urso.  The doctor added that the pericytes, which are part of the capillaries, are packed with ACE2 receptors. After injection, these produce a large amount of spike protein, which spreads through the gap junctions in the heart. This can cause myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle. 💬 “This is just the tip of the iceberg,” said Urso. “This is absolutely unprecedented.” He expects that more and more people will realize that these vaccines are very dangerous.  The doctor quoted the director of the American life insurance company OneAmerica who said at a press conference late last year that the death rate among 18 to 64-year-olds was up to 40 percent higher than normal. 💬 “We are currently experiencing the highest mortality rates in the history of this industry, not just at OneAmerica,” he said.  Edward Dowd, a former portfolio manager at BlackRock, also pointed out that some 61,000 American millennials (aged 25-44) would die after being vaccinated in the second half of 2021. The excess mortality in this group was 84 percent. According to Dowd, this is the highest excess mortality rate in history. (Via Uncutnews.ch)
