Permalink No One Can Rule Out A Transition of the Conflict to Its Final Stage

Dmitry Medvedev (Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council) (Дмитрий Медведев) |Western countries that have supposedly “approved the use” of their long-range weapons on Russian territory (regardless of whether we are talking about old or new parts of our country) should clearly understand the following:

  1. All their military equipment and specialists fighting against us will be destroyed both on the territory of Ukraine and on the territory of other countries if strikes are launched from there against the territory of Russia.
  2. Russia assumes that all long-range weapons used by former Ukraine are already directly controlled by NATO military personnel. [Plus this:] Ukraine is already being directly controlled by NATO military personnel. This is not “military assistance”, but participation in the war against us. And their actions may well become a casus belli.
  3. NATO will have to decide how to qualify the consequences of possible retaliatory strikes against equipment/objects/military personnel of individual countries of the bloc in the context of Articles 4 and 5 of the Washington Treaty.

In all likelihood, the NATO leadership wants to pretend that we are talking about the sovereign decisions of individual countries of the North Atlantic Alliance to support the Kyiv regime, and that there is no reason to apply the rule of the 1949 Treaty on Collective Self-Defense.

These are dangerous and harmful misconceptions. Such “individual assistance” by NATO countries against Russia, whether it means commandeering long-range cruise missiles or sending a contingent of troops to Ukraine, is a serious escalation of the conflict. The former Ukraine and its NATO allies will receive a response of such destructive force, that the Alliance itself simply will not be able to keep from becoming involved in the conflict.

Retired NATO fools may talk about how Russia will never use non-strategic nuclear weapons against Ukraine, and even against certain NATO countrie, [but remember] life is much scarier than their frivolous musings.

A few years ago, they were saying that Russia would not go to an open military conflict with the Banderite regime in order not to quarrel with the West. They miscalculated. We are at war now.

The [West's] use of nuclear weapons could also be a miscalculation. But this would be a fatal blunder. After all, as the Russian President rightly pointed out, European countries have a very high population density. And for those enemy countries whose lands are beyond the nuclear coverage zone, there is, finally, [still] a strategic potential.

And this, alas, is neither intimidation nor nuclear bluff. The current military conflict with the West is developing according to the worst possible scenario. There is a constant escalation of the power of applicable NATO weapons. Therefore, today no one can rule out the transition of the conflict to its final stage.(Translation: DeepL + Grammarly)

Permalink Vladimir Putin Calls For Full Mobilization

Hal Turner | With an estimated 500,000 troops inside Ukraine, and another 200-300,000 to be sent shortly, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke yesterday to the Russian people about the war in Ukraine. He told them " Work as if you are on the frontline...as if you are mobilized" adding it is the only way we will achieve the objectives we set for ourselves."

As things stand right now, Ten European countries have given Ukraine permission to strike inside Russia with their weapons: UK, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Sweden, and Estonia [+ Norway]. Just yesterday, the Foreign Minister of CANADA also publicly stated "Ukraine has the right to strike the territory of Russia by Canadian weapons, there are no restrictions." Putin's remarks, then, to his fellow Russians, seem mindful that if this new approach goes forward, Russia will be under considerable bombardment.

The reality, though, is quite a bit worse. The weapons "donated" to Ukraine are very sophisticated and in most cases, Ukrainians simply don't know how to operate them. According to Russia, these sophisticated weapons are ALREADY being programmed, launched, and guided to target by NATO personnel! So what we are actually seeing is no longer a "proxy" war: - Russian territory will be attacked by NATO weapons that are guided by NATO surveillance and NATO targeting, with the official stated objective of knocking out a US rival, Russia.

Fears are mounting fast that Putin will soon likely allow attacks on NATO logistic centers to prevent those weapons from entering Ukraine. If that takes place, it would be all-out war.

All this because the collective West is determined to grab Ukraine so as to put NATO and U.S. missiles on Ukrainian soil so they have only a five-minute flight time to Moscow. Russia will simply not allow their safety to be impacted that way. For Russia, it's a matter of their national security.

Permalink Biden secretly allows Ukraine strikes on Russia: Officials

US officials reveal that Biden secretly approved Ukrainian strikes on Russian territories using US-supplied weapons. | United States President Joe Biden has secretly lifted restrictions on Ukraine's use of US-supplied weapons against targets in Russian territory, US officials told Agence France-Presse (AFP) on Thursday.  According to US officials, Biden made the move "only to defend the under-fire" Kharkov region against Russian forces. The news agency says that Biden has come under increasing pressure from Ukrainian officials urging him to further ease the ban on the use of the weapons. However, the US president believes that this would drag NATO into direct conflict or even a nuclear standoff with Russia.  The US has supplied Ukrainian forces with short-range ballistic weapons that extend the precision targeting capabilities of Ukrainian forces to a radius of nearly 300 km at points of deployment.

Permalink Yemen vows 'very painful' response after US-UK strikes kill over a dozen

Yemen has vowed a "painful response" to overnight airstrikes by US-British forces against targets across the Arab nation, which killed at least 14 people and left several others injured. | The remarks came hours after Yemen's media reported that a US-British airstrike hit the radio station building in the al-Hawak district of Yemen’s strategic western province of Hudaydah early on Friday.  US and British forces also conducted strikes against the communications network in an area of the Hayfan district in Yemen's southwestern province of Ta'izz, and on several buildings in the capital province of Sana’a.  Yemen's al-Masirah television channel said 14 people were killed and more than 30 were wounded in the strikes.  American and British warships have been carrying out attacks against the Arab Peninsula nation to force Yemen to stop its operations against Israeli vessels or those heading towards the ports lying in the occupied Palestinian territories.
