The US has tried to silence a national hero’s eyewitness account of the September 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, Press TV reports. - “Actually, there was an initial explosion in the basement seconds before the plane hit. I spoke about it - they didn’t want me to talk about it,” said William Rodriguez, a janitor working for 20 years in the North Tower of the World Trade Center buildings. Rodriguez was responsible for single-handedly saving at least 15 people, rescuing thousands of survivors while assisting firefighters during the attacks, and subsequently raising 122 million dollars for the victims of 9/11. “My story, which I was recognized as a national hero, doesn’t show up anywhere on the report because my story basically destroys the official one because of the explosion,” said Rodriguez. The American hero believes the so-called 9/11 report is incorrect while the truth is yet to be revealed, as questions remain unanswered including the fact that the government trained Osama bin Laden who “was given support for the Afghan rebels to fight with the Russians.”

A senior Iranian commander says the United States planned the 9/11 terrorist attacks to use them as pretext to invade the energy-rich Middle East. -
“The US, looking for a pretext to invade the Middle East, masterminded the 9/11 incident and pointed an accusing finger at Muslim countries,” Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Forces Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan said on Saturday. Pourdastan added that following the fall of the Soviet Union, the US introduced itself as the world’s sole superpower and moved to instill the new world order to prove its supremacy. The Iranian commander noted that the US later found its geopolitical policies a failure and decided to follow a geo-economic policy and control the world’s energy resources, 60 percent of which was located in the Middle East.

“To achieve that goal, they launched preemptive attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq, and Iran was their next target, but wise policies adopted by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei along with the unity of the Iranian nation prevented them from achieving their objective,” Pourdastan said.

Off limits at the military commission trial at the US Naval Base at Guantánamo Bay are any details surrounding the defendants’ capture, detention, and alleged torture by the CIA. It includes “the enhanced interrogation techniques that were applied to an accused … including descriptions of the techniques as applied, the duration, frequency, sequencing, and limitations of those techniques.”

Panetta directing Pentagon to begin ramping up network-security efforts. - The Pentagon is mobilizing its cyberwarfare arsenal in preparation for a massive assault on U.S. networks that could "paralyze the nation," said Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta. "A cyber attack perpetrated by nation states or violent extremist groups could be as destructive as the terrorist attack of 9/11," Panetta said Oct. 11 in a speech to corporate leaders of Business Executives for National Security, a nonpartisan group. A US analyst says the key pro-Israeli neo-con elements who ran the former George Bush administration’s foreign and military policies and planned the 9/11 attacks are now running the campaign of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

Rejecting US President Barack Obama administration’s official account that the alleged mastermind of the 9/11 terror incidents in 2001, Osama Ben Laden, was killed by American forces and then dumped in the ocean, Kevin Barrett said in a Press TV article, “Real perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks are still at large.” “And what's worse is that they control most of the United States Federal Court system and mainstream media, and are running the campaign of presidential candidate Mitt Romney,” he adds. According to Barrett, Romney's top foreign policy advisor Rabbi Dov Zakheim is “one of the leading suspected hands-on designers and controllers of the Israeli-instigated 9/11 false-flag operation.”

The analyst further added that Zakheim, who was appointed on May 4, 2001 as the Comptroller of the US Defense Department, was responsible for the loss of over USD 2.3 trillion in Pentagon funds - equivalent to five times its annual budget - which was announced by the then Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld on September 10, 2001, just a day before the 9/11 events. The huge and mysterious loss of funds was actually estimated to be USD 9.1 trillion by CIA whistleblower Susan Lindauer, the article added.

“So what happened to the Pentagon's missing 2.3 trillion dollars (or 9.1 trillion dollars if you believe Susan Lindauer)?” Barrett asked. “The one thing we know for sure is that it has never been found...at least not officially. Lindauer says insiders know it was embezzled by agents of Israel. Interestingly, the Comptroller of the Pentagon - the man who was running the Pentagon's finances - was a known Israeli agent, Rabbi Dov Zakheim. (Yes, he really is a rabbi!)”

Quoting a recently-retired senior military affairs journalist at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterrey, California, Barbara Honegger, Barrett said, “The 9/11 attack on the Pentagon targeted the accountants who were on the trail of the missing trillions” and were killed in a “surgical bombing” that was carried out under the cover of “a nonexistent hijacked 757 crash at the Pentagon.”

[Why didn't NORAD do this on 9/11?] Two F-16 fighter aircraft intercepted a civilian aircraft that flew into a temporarily restricted area about 12:30 p.m. Thursday near Denver, the North American Aerospace Defense Command said. The Cessna 182 was directed to land and did so without incident at Centennial Airport. The aircraft was to be met by law enforcement, NORAD said. President Barack Obama was in the Denver area on Thursday, and flight areas are generally restricted in areas when he visits. NORAD controlled fighters launch about 200 times a year for such incidents, usually to intercept civilian aircraft that have unknowingly strayed into restricted airspace, NORAD officials have said.

Steel will do all kinds of "tricks," but actually melting it requires a basic melting temperature of 2890° F or greater (jet fuel burns at 1800° F maximum). Melting also requires the element of time, sufficient to permit thermal energy buildup and "peak" melting temperature. To obtain the melting temperature for steel - not iron - one needs the external temperature of approximately 2,900 degrees (F) with enough time for the metal to convert from a solid to a liquid. The process can be sped-up, but only with a much higher temperature -- such as Thermite -- approximately 5,400 degrees (F). That's almost twice the needed heat. All the pooled jet fuel in the world won't burn hot enough to produce molten steel - under any conditions. Molten steel was found in the basements under the debris piles of the twin towers and WTC#7.

In reaction to her son's arrest, the decorated Marine’s mother has called into question the freedom of speech in the United States. Her remarks followed the abrupt arrest of Raub whose posts on Facebook have been under scrutiny. The case, experts say, is a flagrant indication of the US government’s strict control over social networking websites, above all Facebook. Thomas said her son was questioned about why he was writing comments critical of the government. "He basically said 'I have some disagreements with the government and share this', and they said, 'You have to go with us'," Thomas noted. She added, "He was handcuffed, not read his rights, put into a Chesterfield Police Department vehicle and taken to John Randolph Psychiatric Hospital in Hopewell, Virginia," Thomas said.

Washington's Blog: Marine Locked In Mental Ward for Questioning 9/11 - Former marine Brandon Raub was carted off by the Feds and locked in a psychiatric ward for his Facebook posts questioning the government’s version of 9/11. Raub isn’t the first person who has suffered this fate. Claire Swinney was also held in a psychiatric ward and called “delusional” for claiming government liability for 9/11. Others have been committed for the same reason over the last decade.

Brandon J. Raub, 26, has been in custody since FBI, Secret Service agents and police in Virginia's Chesterfield County questioned him Thursday evening about what they said were ominous posts talking about a coming revolution.

But when the FBI dash to the scene, they find not a terrorist cell but a New York police hideout. - Nothing promised such a major embarrassment for the New York Police Department on a June day. Then the 911 telephone line of the New Brunswick Police rang. An alarmed resident of the New Jersey town was saying he had come across something very suspicious.

"What's suspicious?" asked the 911 dispatcher. "It’s suspicious in the sense that the apartment has no furniture except two beds, has no clothing, has New York City Police Department radios," replied a building superintendent of an apartment complex just off the Rutgers University campus. "Really?" "There's computer hardware, software, you know, just lying around,” continued the caller. “There's pictures of terrorists. There's pictures of our neighboring building that they have." "In New Brunswick?" the dispatcher asked – still seemingly unconvinced.

Though the two were talking back in 2009, the tape of the call has only this week been obtained from the New Brunswick Police Department, following a court action by the Associated Press.

Why this is important: Building 7 of the World Trade Center, a 47 story building, contained offices of the CIA, the Secret Service, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) several financial institutions and then-Mayor Giuliani's Office of Emergency Management. Despite never being hit by an airplane, Building 7 was reduced to a pile of rubble in about 7 seconds at 5:20 p.m. on September 11, 2001. After 9/11 this fact has been widely covered up by the U.S. mass media and was even omitted from the 9/11 Commission Report. NIST, the National Institute for Standards and Technology (a U.S. government agency) was authorized by Congress to determine “why and how WTC 7 collapsed.” NIST produced a preliminary draft of their final report in August, 2008 omitting the fact that Building 7 fell at free fall acceleration for part of its descent. After a physicist challenged NIST on this point the final report, in November 2008 admitted free fall acceleration for 105' or 2.5 seconds. However NIST claimed that this was consistent with their own fire based collapse theory which alleged that the entire collapse began because column 79 became laterally unsupported and buckled due to heat. NIST has refused to disclose their entire computer model and this column 79 theory was not based on any hard evidence. [...] NIST has already admitted the scientific fact of free fall acceleration in Building 7. This is remarkable! Now we ask that NIST tell what this means: that the entire building structure below for at least eight floors was removed just as Building 7 began to fall. Does this not imply use of explosives? We petition for a response.

Firstly, These kangaroo courts are set up not as a system of justice but as a permanent propaganda institution. The Pentagon formally charged Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other detainees held at the Guantanamo Bay prison camp in Cuba Wednesday in connection with the September 11 terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington. The presentation of the charges, which carry a maximum sentence of death, sets the stage for a military tribunal excluding elementary rights that exist in a civilian court, or even in a traditional court martial.
