Permalink US Navy deploys 4 warships east of Taiwan amid increased cross-strait military activity

As US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi headed to Taipei on Tuesday (Aug 2) amid intensifying warnings from China, four US warships, including an aircraft carrier, were positioned in waters east of the island on "routine" deployments. The carrier USS Ronald Reagan had transited the South China Sea and was currently in the Philippines Sea, east of Taiwan and the Philippines and south of Japan, a US Navy official confirmed to Reuters on Tuesday. The Japanese-based Reagan is operating with a guided missile cruiser, USS Antietam, and a destroyer, USS Higgins.

💬 "While they are able to respond to any eventuality, these are normal, routine deployments," the official said, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The official added that they were unable to comment on precise locations.

The US Navy official said the amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli was also in the area as part of a deployment to the region that started in early May from its home port of San Diego.

Permalink U.S. Claims to Have Killed Ayman Zawahiri in Drone Strike

Both the U.S. military and the Biden government claim, without evidence, to have killed "Al Qaeda emir" Ayman Zawahiri in a drone strike on a residential property in Kabul, Afghanistan. What is clear at this time is that some act of violence by U.S. assets may indeed have taken place. Zabihullah Mujahid, Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan spokesman issues this statement:

💬 On the second day of the first month of the current year 1444 Hijri, an air strike was carried out on a residential house in Sherpur area of Kabul city. The nature of the incident was not revealed at first. The security and intelligence agencies of the Islamic Emirate investigated the incident and found that the attack was carried out by American drones. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan strongly condemns this attack on any pretext and calls it a clear violation of international principles and the Doha Agreement. Such actions are a repetition of the failed experiences of the past 20 years and are against the interests of the United States of America, Afghanistan and the region. Repeating such actions will damage the available opportunities.”

Permalink WEF Issues Edict to Global Leaders: Phase Out Car Ownership, People Can ‘Walk or Share

Earlier this month Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum ordered compliant governments around the world to increase the already sky-high price of gas. Now the WEF is claiming people have no right to own cars and must instead “walk or share.”

In a paper published by the WEF on Friday, the globalist elites claim that communal sharing of cars is part of a “circular approach” necessary to reduce global demands for precious metals and fossil fuels. Thousands of private jets fly into Davos each year for the WEF’s summit, but according to Klaus Schwab ordinary people should not own their own car. The global elites in Geneva, Switzerland, are now instructing their Young Global Leaders embedded in governments around the world that far too many people own private vehicles and this situation must be changed by pricing people out of the market.
