Israel to build 20,000 settler units in West Bank - Video
The Israeli regime plans to build some 20,000 more illegal settler units in the occupied West Bank. ● On Tuesday, Tel Aviv issued tenders for the construction of new settler units in the occupied West Bank despite widespread international criticism of settlements built in the occupied Palestinian territories. According to reports, 1,200 new settler units will be built in the so-called E1 area which links al-Quds (Jerusalem) to the city of Ma'ale Adumim in the occupied West Bank. The rest of the new settler units are set to be constructed in several other areas, including the Binyamin Regional Council and Gush Etzion. Elsewhere, Tel Aviv has authorized the construction of two new illegal settlements in the Negev Desert.
