Major Jewish Newspaper Praises Vicious Anti-Gentile Chief Rabbi as “Well-Respected Giant”
The Times of Israel, a fanatically pro-Israel and pro-Jewish newspaper run by leading Zio-Supremacist journalist David Horovitz, has published an op-ed piece by its breaking news editor praising vicious Jewish Supremacist racist Rabbi Ovadia Yosef as a “well-respected giant.”
Writing in the newspaper, breaking news editor Aaron Kalman praised the former chief serpahdic rabbi of Israel as the latter was taken up seriously ill- in an Israeli hospital at the age of 93. “Hundreds of thousands of Jews from Israel and abroad are following the news from Jerusalem’s Hadassah hospital, praying that 93-year-old Rabbi Ovadia Yosef makes some sort of (miraculous?) recovery and regains some of his strength,” Kalman wrote. “Rav Ovadia became known as Maran – a traditional Jewish title meaning the head rabbi of a place. Even when he was no longer the official chief rabbi of Israel, the title remained. “Even as Rav Ovadia fights for his life, the inheritance battle has begun, with people clamoring to gain his title of Maran. While someone might net a political victory and be called by the name Rav Ovadia was, it’s clear that, at this time, no rabbi can fill the giant void he’ll leave behind,” Kalman concluded. This fulsome praise for Ovadia is important, when it is borne in mind that this “giant” expressed many of the most viciously anti-Gentile comments in recent times. For example, he is on record in the Jewish Telegraphic Agency as saying that
“Goyim were born only to serve us. Without that, they have no place in the world; only to serve the People of Israel,” he said during a public discussion of what kind of work non-Jews are allowed to perform on Shabbat. “Why are gentiles needed? They will work, they will plow, they will reap. We will sit like an effendi and eat,” he said to some laughter.
