Permalink Israeli Defense Force Leaflets to SOUTH Gaza - Telling People "Evacuate"

When Israel told people to evacuate the northern Gaza Strip and head south because Air Force Bombs would be dropped, Israel claimed "This is not a forced relocation to drive-out Palestinians." Today, new leaflets dropped in Khan Yunis are telling people to evacuate from the south as well. [In the leaflet] they tell people "For your safety, you must evacuate your place of residence immediately and evacuate to one of the known shelters." The IDF stated in a proclamation: "Hamas' actions force the IDF to act against it in the area where you live." This is a dramatic move that indicates the expected expansion of the IDF's operation now in SOUTHERN Gaza!

Permalink France's Move to Issue Arrest Warrant for Assad Manifests Judicial Bias - Lavrov

France's decision to issue an international arrest warrant for Syrian President Bashar Assad is a manifestation of judicial bias. | On Wednesday, media reported, citing a judicial source, that France had issued arrest warrants for Assad, his brother Maher Assad, and two other senior officials in connection with the alleged use of banned chemical weapons against civilians in Syria. A decade ago, a grave false flag operation by anti-government forces in Syria nearly precipitated a US military intervention. On August 21, 2013, militants opposed to Bashar Assad's government launched an assault on Eastern Ghouta, a heavily populated region on the eastern fringes of Damascus, the Syrian capital. This assault involved the use of sarin-filled shells.

Permalink South Africa refers Israel to ICC

Pretoria accuses the Israeli government of committing genocide in Gaza | South Africa has asked the International Criminal Court (ICC) to investigate the Israeli government for alleged war crimes in Gaza, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on Wednesday during a two-day visit to Qatar.  The claim against Israel, which has not ratified the Rome Statute – the treaty establishing the ICC – was taken “together with many other countries”, Ramaphosa said, without specifying which states were involved.  Last week, Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced Bogota would request that the court prosecute Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over “the massacre” of civilians in Gaza. Similarly, two Turkish lawyers and a former lawmaker have petitioned Ankara's government to file charges against Israel at the ICC, to which Türkiye is also not a party.

Permalink UNICEF Warns of Devastating Situation in Gaza: Nowhere Safe for One Million Children

The executive director of the United Nations Children's Fund [UNICEF] described the situation in the Gaza Strip as “devastating” amid ‘Israel’s’ ongoing aggression, warning that the regime’s brutal assault has left "nowhere safe" for the enclave’s one million children.

Catherine Russell made the remarks in a statement released on the agency’s website on Wednesday following her visit to Gaza. 💬 "Today I visited the Gaza Strip to meet with children, their families, and UNICEF staff. What I saw and heard was devastating. They have endured repeated bombardment, loss, and displacement. Inside the Strip, there is nowhere safe for Gaza’s one million children to turn," Russel said. The UNICEF chief went on to say that more than 4,600 children have reportedly been killed, with nearly 9,000 injured in Gaza, adding that "Many children are missing and believed buried under the rubble of collapsed buildings and homes” due to ‘Israeli’ strikes in populated areas.  She further noted that newborns in need of specialized care have died in one of Gaza’s hospitals as power and medical supplies run out due to the criminal blockade imposed by the ‘Israeli’ regime. Russell also said that in the neonatal ward of Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, “tiny babies were clinging to life in incubators, as doctors worried how they could keep the machines running without fuel."

Permalink Gaza Mosque Massacre: ‘Israel’ Kills at Least 50 Worshippers, Injures Dozens

At least 50 people were martyred and dozens of others injured as the ‘Israeli’ occupation warplanes targeted a mosque in Sabra Neighborhood in the center of the Gaza Strip amid the regime's genocidal war. | The attack was carried out during prayers, when the mosque was full of worshippers. Another ‘Israeli’ strike on telecommunications towers in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip left at least one child martyred.  The Zionist occupation regime has encouraged Palestinians to move from northern Gaza to the south for their safety, but ‘Israel’ in fact bombs everywhere and nowhere is safe now. So far, at least 11,500 Palestinians, including 4,710 children and 3,160 women, have been martyred, and around 32,000 others wounded since October 7, when the regime started bombing the blockaded coastal territory.  Also on Wednesday, head of the Orthopedic Department at al-Shifa, Gaza's biggest hospital, which was raided by the ‘Israeli’ forces on Wednesday, said ‘Israeli’ bulldozers and tanks invaded the facility, and demolished parts of the premises.

Permalink ‘Israeli’ Forces Withdraw from Al-Shifa Hospital Humiliated Having Not Found Any Weapons

‘Israeli’ occupation forces withdrew from Al-Shifa Medical Complex. However, their tanks remain positioned in its vicinity, the Director General of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Muhammad Abu Salmiya, said late on Wednesday. | Abu Salmiya confirmed, yet again, that the ‘Israeli’ occupation forces "did not find any military gear or weapons in the hospital," emphasizing that the Hospital's management does not allow weapons on its premises. He pointed to the futility of the ongoing communications with international organizations, which were unable to deter the occupation from committing yet another war crime in the Gaza Strip.  Abu Salmiya further revealed that the occupation detained two medical engineers and interrogated several medical staffers in the complex. In detail, the two detained engineers are the only available experts at the hospital who are tasked with the management of the complex's electrical generators and oxygen supply systems, according to Munir al-Bursh, the Director General for the Ministry of Health in Gaza.  Al-Bursh revealed that the occupation sabotaged and destroyed crucial systems and assets in the complex, having failed to find their alleged spoils.
