Permalink Israeli Gaza 'concept paper' mirrors 1948 Palestinian Nakba

The Palestinian President's spokesperson says the mass displacement of Gazans is tantamount to a declaration of war. | A recent report by AP shows that the Israeli Intelligence Ministry has drafted a plan detailing a wartime proposal for the forcible displacement of the 2.3 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip into the Sinai Peninsula.
The Israeli occupation Prime Minister downplayed the proposal of the mass displacement as being simply a hypothetical "concept paper", however, its concluding remarks eerily mirrored the brutal events of the 1948 Nakba.  This proposal of systematic dispossession and displacement has put additional strain on the occupation's relations with Ramallah and Cairo.

Permalink Israel Cut Off Gaza’s Communications Because Murderers Don’t Like Witnesses

Caitlin Johnstone | Israel is perhaps more acutely aware than any other government on earth of how disadvantageous it is to have your crimes recorded in the light of day and shared with the world. | Israeli ground forces have ramped up activities in Gaza in what anonymous US officials are reportedly telling the press is a “rolling start” to the long-anticipated ground invasion.  Israel has also concurrently crippled Gaza’s largest telecommunications service, which had been the enclave’s last remaining contact with the outside world after Israel knocked out all the others. Humanitarian organizations and mainstream press outlets now say they have lost communication with their contacts in Gaza in a level of information blackout we’re unaccustomed to seeing in modern times.  “This information blackout risks providing cover for mass atrocities and contributing to impunity for human rights violations,” Human Rights Watch correctly notes.  And I’m going to go ahead and say that’s probably not just a convenient coincidence for Israel. A genocidal massacre in total darkness works very much to the advantage of those doing the massacring.

Permalink "We are determined". Erdogan threatened the West with a war of "cross and crescent"

Marina Sovina (Марина Совина) (lenta.ru) | Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned the West about a possible war on religious grounds. He said this during a rally in Istanbul organized in support of Palestine. During his speech, the Turkish leader wore a scarf in the colors of the Palestinian flag. | Do you want to ignite a new war between the cross and the crescent? If you are making such an effort to do so, then know this - this nation is not dead, it is standing firmly on its feet. We are determined. Earlier, Erdogan said that Western countries bear part of the responsibility for the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. He linked this to the fact that they do not call for a ceasefire.

Turkey wants to declare Israel a war criminal – Earlier Erdogan mentioned Ankara's intention to declare Israel a war criminal. According to him, the relevant work is already underway. "Israel, how did you end up here? How did you get here? You are an occupier. Every country has the right to defend itself, but where is justice? There is a massacre in Gaza," the Turkish president said. Erdogan also called on Israel to immediately get out of the "state of madness." He noted that the constant bombardment of Gaza is again targeting women, children and innocent locals. This deepens the humanitarian crisis and the Jewish state must stop the attacks, he assured.  The Saudi Foreign Ministry also pointed out that any ground operations in the Gaza Strip are unacceptable as they threaten the lives of civilians. "The Kingdom warns of the dangers of continuing these blatant and unjustified violations of international law against the brotherly Palestinian people, as well as the serious consequences they will have on stability in the world and the region," the foreign ministry said in a statement.

Israel has launched the second phase of the war against Hamas – In the evening of October 28, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the beginning of the second stage of the war. The politician called its goal the destruction of the Palestinian movement Hamas and the release of hostages.  Netanyahu also said that allies in Western and Arab countries understand the goals of the conflict with Palestine. The politician emphasized that they support the Israeli side and want it to win the war against the Palestinian Hamas movement. "They understand that if we do not win this war, they are next in line," he noted.  Following Erdogan's statements, Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen recalled diplomats from Turkey. "Against the backdrop of Turkey's harsh statements, I ordered Israel's diplomatic representatives to return home in order to reassess Israeli-Turkish relations," he explained. Permalink DO YOU GET IT YET?

theburningplatform.com | It’s the same old story every time. Our overlords create and fund those they want us to believe are enemies that must be stopped. The U.S. funded and supported Sadaam Hussein when he was fighting our enemy Iran, who was our enemy because we overthrew their president in the 1950’s and installed the Shah as dictator. When he stopped playing ball with our Deep State, they “saved” Kuwait over a border dispute and falsely claimed he was involved in 9/11 and had WMDs, so they could kill him and steal Iraq’s oil. We created and funded Bin Laden when he was fighting our eternal enemy Russia in Afghanistan. Then we blamed him for 9/11 and waged war for over a decade against him and the Taliban. Libya was the most prosperous country in Africa, but Ghaddafi didn’t toe the line with our Deep State, so he became our new enemy and was swiftly dispatched, leaving Libya a lawless hellhole. The CIA/Deep State overthrew a democratically elected leader of Ukraine because he was friendly with our eternal enemy Russia, creating the conflict today which is bankrupting our country and killing hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians. Now we know Israel created and funded Hamas, the “horrible” terrorist organization they allowed to attack their country with no resistance, even though they knew it was about to happen. Our globalist overlords always need enemies to create, so they can sustain the military industrial complex and keep the people distracted and angry at other enemies, rather than their true enemies – their corrupt psychopathic leaders. This is all a show, and you are an unwilling audience member, until you become their cannon fodder. Are you not entertained?

Permalink 5,000 US troops involved in Gaza offensive – Iranian media

The report by Tasnim News Agency comes as the Pentagon has moved additional military assets into the Middle East | Several thousand US troops have taken part in Israel’s ground operation in Gaza, the Iran-based Tasnim News Agency reported on Saturday. The Pentagon has recently announced plans to significantly reinforce its military presence in the Middle East amid the Israel-Hamas conflict and tensions with Iran.  According to the agency’s security sources, Israel’s assault on Gaza involved three divisions and several brigades and was also underpinned by 5,000 US military personnel. The outlet, however, did not provide any details about which troops took part in the offensive or what functions they performed.  Tasnim said that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attempted to enter the enclave from several areas in the north, west, and southwest “to split the Gaza Strip into two or three sections and cut off the connection among the Palestinian resistance forces before launching the next stage of the war.” The agency did not specify what results the Israeli military had achieved so far.

Hamas and Israeli troops are engaged in a fierce battle in the Gaza Strip as Tel Aviv expands its ground offensive and cuts communications to the besieged area. | The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said in a statement that it was fighting Israeli forces in two areas inside the Gaza Strip early on Saturday as the Israeli war against the Palestinians in Gaza entered its 22nd day. 💬 "We are confronting an Israeli ground incursion in Beit Hanoun (in the northern Gaza Strip) and east Bureij (in the center) and violent engagements are taking place on the ground," the statement said. The Israeli military claimed that its fighter jets had struck 150 "underground targets" in northern Gaza and killed “several” Hamas fighters during intense overnight raids. The Israeli military said the targeted sites included "tunnels, underground combat spaces and additional underground infrastructure.”  A spokesman for the Gaza Civil Defense said Israeli airstrikes destroyed hundreds of buildings overnight. "Hundreds of buildings and houses were completely destroyed and thousands of other homes were damaged," Mahmud Bassal told AFP, adding that the intense bombardments had "changed the landscape" of northern Gaza.

Israel has been expanding its ground maneuvers in the Gaza Strip, an IDF representative acknowledged earlier, while continuing massive strikes on the Palestinian enclave and ratcheting up the civilian death toll. | Israel is prepared for a long fight to achieve its strategic goals, Prof. Col. (ret.) Gabi Siboni told Sputnik. 💬 “We are prepared and ready to go at any moment that our government will decide that we need to go for this phase,” emphasized Siboni, who serves as a senior consultant to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and other Israeli security organizations and the security industry. The pundit, who also headed the Military and Strategic Affairs Program and Cyber Security Program at the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security (INSS) in 2006-2020, was referring to the fact that Israel appears to be preparing for the next phase of its military operation, a ground campaign to “crush and destroy” Hamas, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu termed it.  The military wing of Hamas, the Qassam Brigades, said on Friday that its fighters are engaged in a clash with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) near Beit Hanoun in northeast Gaza Strip. 💬 “The Qassam Brigades are resisting the Israeli army's incursion into Beit Hanoun and east of Bureij, and there are violent clashes on the ground,” the military wing said in a statement. [...] as the civilian death toll grows, a humanitarian catastrophe has been unfolding in Gaza, with its population of 2.1 million people. Fuel, food, and medical supplies are fast running out, there is no electricity, and, most recently, internet and phone services went down. A resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza was overwhelmingly passed by the United Nations General Assembly on October 27, calling for release of all civilians, the protection of civilians, and ensuring safe passage of humanitarian aid into the enclave. However, both Israel and the United States rejected calls for a ceasefire contained in the nonbinding initiative put forward by Jordan and a swathe of Arab countries. Across the globe, protesters have been voicing support for Palestinians in Gaza, while also warning of the risk of the Palestine-Israel conflagration mushrooming into a wider Middle East conflict.

The plan reportedly involves stricter time limits and a requirement for the consent of family members | The initiative proposes requiring the consent of a woman’s family members before the procedure, according to the Parliamentary Gazette. If a woman is married, the “informed consent” of her husband would be required as well. For underage girls, approval from at least one of the parents would be needed. The current laws allow the decision to be made without anyone else’s input or approval.  The amendments would also ban abortions after eight weeks of pregnancy, from the current 12, and allow rape victims to request the procedure at up to 12 weeks, down from the current 22.   Women would also have to go through mandatory pre-abortion counseling, including a demonstration of the baby’s beating heart during an ultrasound scan, and extend the required “contemplation period” from the current 48 hours to one week.  Private clinics would be banned from performing abortions, while the “encouragement” or “propaganda” of abortion would be subject to administrative penalties, including fines. Punishments for illegally performed abortions would be increased as well. According to RBK, the committee intends to review the proposed amendments within a month. After that, it could be presented to the State Duma for a general debate and a potential floor vote.

Permalink Israel ‘expanding’ operations in Gaza – IDF

A massive wave of airstrikes was carried out ahead of a ground incursion | Israeli ground forces will “expand” their activity in Gaza on Friday night, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari has told reporters. Warplanes are currently subjecting the enclave to some of the heaviest bombardment to date ahead of the ground operation. [...] Israeli soldiers have conducted several limited raids into the strip over the last two days but no major offensive has been announced. Hagari’s statement is the clearest sign since the beginning of the conflict on October 7 that an invasion – which the IDF has been preparing to launch for almost three weeks – is imminent.  In a statement on Friday morning, the IDF said that its tanks and infantry had moved into central Gaza the previous day and destroyed “dozens of terrorist targets, including positions for launching anti-tank missiles and operational headquarters,” as well as Hamas fighters. Israeli forces withdrew after the raid with no casualties, the IDF added.
