John McCain meeting in 2013 with the head of ISIS (IS). “ISIS” released this photo claiming “some” of the guys pictured with McCain are now fighting for them. It’s deliberately misleading in that you don’t really know who any of them are. Here’s another with the same disinfo photo. Here’s another. The point of this campaign is too discredit the claim that McCain met with and aided what is now “ISIS” – the same “ISIS” that McCain claims is “coming to America“. The trick is he says he didn’t “pose” for a photo with “ISIS”. In fact, he didn’t. The real photo you should be looking at is this one. They aren’t “posing” they are discussing how much military aid Jihad John can acquire for al Nosra (al Qaeda) and “ISIS” through the cover of the “moderate” FSA. But, technically speaking, no, he isn’t posing.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has arrived in the Belarusian capital of Minsk for multi-party talks on resolving the crisis in Ukraine’s east, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported Tuesday. Poroshenko is to hold talks with the presidents of the members of the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia, Alexander Lukashenko, Nursultan Nazarbayev and Vladimir Putin, respectively, as well as European Union representatives.

We realize the number of slain Palestinians is higher than this. The Ministry of Health has stated that a total of 2137, been killed. We are still awaiting confirmation of some names.

The number includes 577 children, 263 women, and 102 elderly, since July 8, while more than 11100, including 3374 children, 2088 women and 410 elderly, have been injured.

PBS estimates Salafi jihadists constitute less than 0.5 percent of the world’s 1.9 billion Muslims (i.e., less than 10 million). As we’ve been warning for more than a year – long before the old crazies re-branded as “ISIS” – Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other American allies have been supporting the crazed extremists who are persecuting Christians. Chinese eye 'supercavitation' technology as future of underwater travel. ● China has moved a step closer to creating a supersonic submarine that could travel from Shanghai to San Francisco in less than two hours. New technology developed by a team of scientists at Harbin Institute of Technology's Complex Flow and Heat Transfer Lab has made it easier for a submarine, or torpedo, to travel at extremely high speeds underwater. Li Fengchen, professor of fluid machinery and engineering, said the team's innovative approach meant they could now create the complicated air "bubble" required for rapid underwater travel. "We are very excited by its potential," he said. Water produces more friction, or drag, on an object than air, which means conventional submarines cannot travel as fast as an aircraft. However, during the cold war, the Soviet military developed a technology called supercavitation, which involves enveloping a submerged vessel inside an air bubble to avoid problems caused by water drag. A Soviet supercavitation torpedo called Shakval was able to reach a speed of 370km/h or more - much faster than any other conventional torpedoes.

Syria’s Foreign Minister Walid Muallem has warned the United States against carrying out airstrikes on the Takfiri ISIL terrorists inside Syria without Damascus’ consent. ● He said at a news conference in Damascus on Monday that any such attack without the approval of the Syrian government would be considered as a violation of his country’s sovereignty and an act of aggression. He also expressed Syria’s readiness to cooperate with the international community to confront terrorism. “Syria is ready to cooperate and coordinate...[at] the regional and international level in the war on terror, but any efforts to combat terrorism should come in coordination with the Syrian government.” He further said Damascus must feel the cooperation is serious.
