Permalink Moscow comes under attempted drone attack

There were no victims after two UAVs hit non-residential buildings, according to the authorities | Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin says there was “no major damage” in the city following an attempted Ukrainian drone strike around 4am Monday morning. The drones crashed into non-residential buildings after the military suppressed them using electronic warfare systems.  The Russian Defense Ministry said in a brief statement that it had prevented an “attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using two unmanned aerial vehicles” on Monday morning.  Several drone fragments were found on Komsomolsky Prospekt in the center of Moscow, not far from the Defense Ministry’s main headquarters, a source in the emergency services told TASS news agency. The Department of transportation said that traffic in the area was partially restricted, advising residents to plan detour routes.

Permalink Poland Moves Troops to Belarus Border – Russia’s Putin Vows To Protect Belarusian Allies, Says Polish Want to Annex Ukrainian Territory

With every passing day, the disturbing possibility of a widening of the Ukraine war with the participation of other nations in direct military hostilities is becoming more and more palpable. | The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Director, Sergei Naryshkin, repeated today his warning that Poland is considering deploying troops in western Ukraine to establish control there. The SVR head believes that Warsaw is finally coming to realize that the defeat of Ukraine is just a matter of time. President Vladimir Putin instructed Naryshkin to monitor Poland’s plans for Ukraine, and said that Poland plans to form ‘a coalition under the guise of NATO’ to intervene in the conflict in Ukraine.

Putin tells Poland any aggression against Belarus is attack on Russia | President Vladimir Putin on Friday accused NATO member Poland of having territorial ambitions in the former Soviet Union, and said any aggression against Russia's neighbor and close ally Belarus would be considered an attack on Russia. Moscow would react to any aggression against Belarus, which forms a loose "Union State" with Russia, "with all the means at our disposal", Putin told a meeting of his Security Council in televised remarks. Permalink US Military Confirms Myocarditis Spike After COVID Vaccine Introduction

Cases of myocarditis soared among U.S. service members in 2021 after the COVID-19 vaccines were rolled out, a top Pentagon official has confirmed. | There were 275 cases of myocarditis in 2021—a 151 percent spike from the annual average from 2016 to 2020, according to Gilbert Cisneros Jr., undersecretary of defense for personnel and readiness, who confirmed data revealed by a whistleblower earlier this year.  The COVID-19 vaccines can cause myocarditis, a form of heart inflammation that can lead to mortality, including sudden death. COVID-19 also can cause myocarditis.  The diagnosis data comes from the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database.

Permalink MoD reveals details of deadly Ukrainian strike on Russian reporters

One journalist was killed and three others wounded in the attack in Zaporizhzhia Region, the Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed | Ukraine used cluster munitions in the shelling of a group of Russian journalists in Zaporizhzhia Region, killing RIA Novosti news agency correspondent Rostislav Zhuravlev, the Russian Defense Ministry has said.  The attack, which targeted crews from RIA Novosti and Izvestia media outlets, took place at around noon, the ministry reported in a statement on Saturday.  The US announced the delivery of cluster munitions to Ukraine earlier this month, saying the move was necessary due to a shortage of regular artillery rounds among Kyiv’s Western backers.  The controversial shells, which contain multiple bomblets that are dispersed over a large area and put civilians at risk, have been banned in more than 100 countries. However, Ukraine, the US and Russia aren’t among the signatories of the 2008 Convention on Cluster Munitions (CCM).

Permalink Ex-US Admiral Proposes Attacking Russian Ships in Black Sea Amid Grain Deal Spat

Russia suspended its participation in the Black Sea Grain Initiative last week, citing the systematic failure by the US and Europe to facilitate the export of Russian foodstuffs and fertilizers. The Russian Foreign Ministry subsequently warned that it could no longer guarantee the safety of navigation through the northwestern Black Sea. | Retired US admiral and former NATO Supreme Allied Commander James Stavridis has proposed deploying alliance forces in the Black Sea and having them attack Russian warships if they attempt to target ships streaming into or out of Ukrainian ports.  Russia suspended its participation in the Black Sea Grain Deal on its July 17 renewal deadline, citing Western countries’ failure to lift a number of restrictions on Russian food and agricultural exports. Western powers blasted Moscow over the move and warned that it could result in global food shortages hitting the poorest countries the hardest. Russia pointed out that less than 5 percent of all Ukrainian grain exported via the grain deal actually went to countries in need, and assured that it would take steps to assure that these countries do not go hungry.

Permalink Biden invites CIA boss to join cabinet

The US president has asked CIA Director William Burns to play a direct role in his government | US President Joe Biden has tapped CIA Director William Burns to become a member of his cabinet, underscoring the official’s significant influence in the White House and his key role in American foreign policy.  The president announced the decision on Friday, saying Burns has given the United States a “critical strategic advantage” and helped to tackle “our nation’s top national security challenges,” including dealings with Russia and China.  Burns previously served as the US ambassador to Russia under President George W. Bush, and later held senior positions in the State Department during the Barack Obama administration, frequently dealing with Russia policy. In 2008, he penned a memo to his superiors warning that NATO membership for Ukraine would stoke “serious concerns about the consequences of stability in the region,” and potentially set off a “civil war” in the country. Citing several national security experts, the official said Ukraine was the most significant “destabilizing factor in US-Russian relations,” predicting a significant response by Moscow.

Permalink Russian Foreign Ministry: Those Responsible for Death of Sputnik War Correspondent Will Be Punished

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Saturday that those responsible for the death of Sputnik military correspondent Rostislav Zhuravlev, including the suppliers of cluster munitions to Kyiv, will be punished. | Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Zhuravlev died during the evacuation from injuries caused by a cluster submunition explosion and four journalists received wounds of varying degrees of severity. 💬 "Those responsible for the brutal murder of the Russian journalist will be inevitably punished. The entire measure of responsibility will be imposed on those who supplied their Kyiv proteges with cluster munitions," Zakharova said in a statement published on the Russian Foreign Ministry's website. The spokeswoman added that "everything indicated that the attack on the journalist group was not a coincidence."

Perpetrators of brutal attack on Russian journalist to be held accountable – diplomat (TASS)

Maria Zakharova (Мария Захарова/Russian MFA) | The Kyiv regime continues its practice of criminal terror. | The life of journalist Rostislav Zhuravlevlev was cut short today as a result of an artillery strike by cluster munitions from the Ukrainian National Security Forces against a group of journalists from the Izvestiya news agency and the RIA Novosti news agency. Three more of his colleagues, who received shrapnel wounds, were taken to field medical facilities of the Russian Defense Ministry in a state of moderate severity. They are receiving the necessary medical care.  Everything points to the fact that the attack on the journalist group was not carried out by chance: the correspondents were collecting materials for a report on the shelling of settlements in the Zaporizhzhya region by the Kyiv regime's militants with cluster munitions banned in many countries of the world. Those were supplied to Kyiv by the United States of America. Washington, along with London and Paris, which supply the Zelensky regime with long-range missiles, only pay lip service to concern for the safety of journalists, while in reality, they are sponsors of terrorists.  We have no illusions that the relevant international structures will prefer, as they have done in similar cases before, to turn a blind eye to this heinous crime, which, in fact, makes them complicit in Kyiv's terrorist outrage.  This cynical backwardness once again confirms their political engagement and dysfunctionality. The silence of such institutions does not mean that evil has been given an indulgence for murder and the desire to silence the inconvenient truth. The perpetrators of the brutal massacre of the Russian journalist will inevitably receive the punishment they deserve. Those who supplied their protégés in Kyiv with cluster munitions will also share the full measure of responsibility. (Translation: DeepL.com)

Permalink Putin warns of Poland’s intentions in Ukraine and Belarus

Warsaw is looking to take control over western parts of Ukraine, the Russian president claims | Polish leaders are planning to form a NATO-backed coalition to intervene in the Ukraine conflict and take over parts of western Ukraine as well as, possibly, Belarus, Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed on Friday.  Speaking at a meeting with permanent members of Russia’s Security Council, Putin said the government in Kiev is willing to go to any lengths to stay in power, including selling out its own people and handing over Ukrainian territories to “foreign owners.” The first in line, according to the Russian president, are the Poles, who he claimed 💬 “probably expect to form some kind of coalition under the ‘NATO umbrella’ and directly intervene in the conflict in Ukraine, in order to then 'tear off' a bigger piece for themselves, to regain, as they believe, their historical territories – today’s western Ukraine.” + “The prospect is obvious – if the Polish units enter, for example, Lvov or other territories of Ukraine, then they will remain there. And they will remain there forever.”

Permalink U.S. "Locks-On" Fire Control Radar Against Russian Jet in Syria

The Ministry claims a U.S. F-16 activated its firing control radar, which "locked-on" to a Russian Fighter Jet. | For countries like the US and Russia, fire-control radar is the "beep of death." In general, once the fire control radar is locked on to a target, the systems inside the target start screeching warning beeps to indicate the target has been locked on. In most cases, there is almost NOTHING that can break such a radar lock. Even with the top-of-the-line, fifth-generation fighter jets, there is almost no maneuver the aircraft can perform, to break the radar lock. As such, in general, a target that has been locked, on will be dead within seconds. That is why countries regard the use of fire control radar - and especially a lock-on -- as an act of war and actual engagement in a fight. That the United States allegedly did this today, to a Russian fighter jet, is a very big deal. Things continue to escalate between the US and Russia, and, as usual, the US is the aggressor.

Permalink Kiev threatens to sink civilian ships bound for Russia

The warning comes after Moscow de-facto re-imposed a naval blockade of Ukraine | The Ukrainian military has said it will treat all vessels sailing toward Russia’s Black Sea Ports as if they are carrying military supplies, warning they could share the same fate as a Russian warship sunk earlier in the conflict. The thinly veiled threat was issued in a statement by Kiev’s Defense Ministry on Thursday, accusing Moscow of turning the Black Sea into a “danger zone” while vowing to retaliate with force against any ship in the area, including civilian vessels.

Ukraine Begins Firing US Cluster Bombs: The Biden administration previously called the use of cluster munitions in Ukraine a 'potential war crime'. Last year, the White House called the use of cluster bombs in Ukraine a “potential war crime,” but President Biden signed off on the delivery of the civilian-killing munitions earlier this month.  Cluster bombs are so hazardous to civilians because they spread small submunitions, or bomblets, over large areas. Submunitions that don’t explode immediately on impact can kill or maim civilians for decades to come, as they have in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, where the US dropped hundreds of millions of bomblets during the Vietnam War. Permalink UK intelligence 'freelancers' helped Ukraine target Crimean Bridge - report

One of the British-devised plans allegedly involved replicating the 2020 Beirut explosion | Ukraine's drone attack on the Kerch Bridge was most likely planned by former British military intelligence agents who signed a contract with Kiev in 2022, the independent outlet Grayzone has reported citing leaked documents. A "cabal of British military-intelligence freelancers" led by Chris Donnelly has worked with the Odessa office of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) since April last year, Grayzone said in a report published Wednesday evening. The outlet had published leaked documents proving their partnership in October 2022, after the first attack on the Crimean Bridge. "A review of leaked files previously revealed by The Grayzone provides a solid basis for again blaming Donnelly's cabal," the outlet noted in reference to Monday's drone attack that killed two civilians and orphaned a 14-year-old girl.

Permalink Iranian Oil Stolen by the US Stuck on a Tanker Off the Coast of Texas

US companies are hesitant to unload the oil over concerns of retaliation from Iran in the Persian Gulf | US federal prosecutors are struggling to sell off a shipment of stolen Iranian oil being carried by a Greek tanker off the coast of Texas, The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday.  The US Justice Department seized the Greek tanker Suez Rajan in April under the pretext of sanctions enforcement and forced the ship to head for Texas instead of China. The Suez Rajan is carrying 800,000 barrels of stolen oil and is currently off the coast of Galveston.  According to the Journal, the US can’t sell the oil because the companies that would unload the oil are worried about Iranian retaliation in the Persian Gulf. “Companies with any exposure whatsoever in the Persian Gulf are literally afraid to do it,” a Houston-based energy executive involved in the matter told the paper.  The US has a history of seizing tankers and stealing Iranian cargo. In 2021, the Biden administration sold off two million barrels of Iranian oil taken from a tanker that was seized off the coast of the UAE. During the Trump administration, the US seized ships carrying Iranian gas bound for Venezuela and discharged some of the cargo in New York.

Permalink Stay as out-of-date as possible on the CDC-recommended biochemical weapons schedule

Katherine Watt | Orientation for new readers | One of the phrases being pushed into the public consciousness is the admonition to “stay up-to-date” on “vaccines.” It appears in many places, including roadside advertising signs outside retail pharmacies. | Brook Jackson’s False Claims Act case, from her first report to the Food and Drug Administration on Sept. 25, 2020 about clinical trial fraud she witnessed, through her formal report to the Department of Defense on Dec. 14, 2020, to the order of dismissal filed by a federal judge on March 31, 2023, has revealed that all products labeled and promoted by the US Government (military and health officials) as ‘vaccines’ are presumptively biochemical weapons manufactured by pharmaceutical companies, to war department (DoD) specifications, to intentionally injure recipients, under military weapons procurement contracts [links].  The next round of heavily-pushed toxic injections will probably be the Fall 2023 Covid-flu-RSV formulation, which has been PREP-Act supported (for manufacturer and batterer impunity from criminal prosecution for medical battery and homicide) by the most recent Public Health Emergency declaration formulation.  The eleventh amendment to the original, March 10, 2020 declaration under the PREP Act for medical countermeasures against COVID-19, identifies “the burden on healthcare providers caused by coterminous seasonal influenza infections and COVID-19 infections” as the “category of disease, health condition or health threat” justifying uninterrupted medicalized martial law nationwide, as directed by HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra, effective May 11, 2023.

I therefore urge readers to stay out-of-date. Steer clear of the men and women stationed in retail pharmacies. They are military mercenaries camouflaged in scrubs and white coats, armed with vials and hypodermic syringes of poison. This is not medical advice. This is self-defense advice. ‘Vaccines’ are not medicines. They are camouflaged weapons of covert war. The bear is already in the house.

Permalink Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova's article for the Rossiyskaya Gazeta «Remembering All the Holocaust’s Victims»

The stubborn refusal to see the Nazi nature of the Kyiv regime runs deep and is fuelled by nationalism that has taken root in the West and is based on notions of superiority and exceptionalism. | From the German point of view, not everyone is eligible for the compensation, only the people who can prove their Jewish ancestry. It’s an abominable and inexplicable division based on ethnicity. This is a case of segregation, the very fodder for neo-Nazism.  Russia has repeatedly raised this issue with Germany. Almost two years have passed since then, but this “blood-based” rule is still in force despite our criticism of this act of racial discrimination.  However, almost 80 years later, official Berlin decided that some of the very few remaining siege survivors and witnesses of those horrifying events are more worthy than others because their blood has different genetic marks. Does that not ring a bell? This is the very breeding ground for the reincarnation of Nazism and fascism. [...] Unfortunately, genocides have not taught humanity anything. The worst part is that today the descendants of the victims have become advocates for those who killed their ancestors. And this is just one step away from the apocalypse. Going back to Germany’s failure to compensate non-Jewish survivors of the Siege of Leningrad, it is worth emphasizing that Berlin, in degrading the victims of the Holocaust by segregating them, is rapidly descending into a hellish new nationalist abyss.

Permalink Shocking extent of Ukraine's unrelenting demographic collapse

Drago Bosnic | Prior to the unfortunate dismantling of the Soviet Union, Ukraine was one of its most prominent republics, even rivaling Russia itself in numerous aspects. In many ways, it was a sort of "Soviet California", as approximately 30% of the USSR's massive industrial and scientific might was situated precisely in Ukraine. Much of Soviet shipbuilding, advanced electronics, rocketry, chemical industry, metallurgy, and numerous universities and scientific institutions were based all across the country. Moscow built an enormous and highly robust energy infrastructure that Ukraine uses to this very day and without which it would never have been a functioning country.  The "evil Moskaliv" held Ukraine in such high regard that several of the USSR's top leaders were actually Ukrainians, including Nikita Khrushchev and Leonid Brezhnev, arguably two of the Soviet Union's most prominent Cold War-era leaders. In 1954, Khrushchev even "gifted" Crimea, a Russian-populated peninsula, to Ukraine, with virtually no opposition from anyone in Russia. At the time, Ukrainians and ethnic Russians were seen as virtually the same people (which they have been for well over a thousand years at that point), so the move was seen as a trivial bureaucratic matter that made absolutely no difference on the ground. And indeed, nothing changed – until 2014.
