Historian and former CIA Intelligence Officer and analyst Michael Scheuer has openly identified the Jewish lobby as the main protagonists behind attempts to force America into the Syrian war.
Mr Scheuer emphasized the central role of the American Jewish community and the Jewish-Israel lobby in the Washington in pressing for a US military strike against Syria. “We are owned by foreign governments,” he said, going on to identify the Jewish lobby as being brought in to put pressure on Congressmen to support an American military strike against Syria. “The reason that Obama delayed a week was to allow the Israeli lobby in this country to go around and lobby the Congressmen. “I don’t think they can change the opinion of the American people . . . but they [the Jewish lobby] have so much influence with the congress because of campaign contributions, because of the threat of suing the media against them that they can probably swing the majority to vote in favor of the war.” He also identified the arms manufacturing industry as a lobby, and said that between the Jewish lobby and the arms manufacturers, they have “ungodly influence” on the U.S. Government.

Police in Apopka, Florida arrested a man on Saturday morning for distributing a petition that would put the issue of ending red light camera use to a public vote. Mark E. Schmidter, a 66-year-old commercial roofing contractor, stood on the side of the road waiting for the light to turn red at the corner of East Main Street and South Park Avenue. Once traffic came to a stop, he would walk in between cars and distribute a double-sided sheet of paper. One side had a petition form that residents could fill out and a message urging participation in Wednesday's city council meeting. The other side provided information on why cameras should not be used. "Red light cameras are all about money -- not safety," the flyer said in large type. "Governments choose tax money over safety of motorists."

Video-sharing site YouTube has disabled Press TV’s account for the fourth time in less than two months, blatantly violating the alternative channel’s right to free speech. ● “This is the fourth time since July 25 that YouTube disables our account without any explanation,” said Press TV newsroom director, Hamid Reza Emadi. “They’re violating our right to freedom of expression under all international norms.” YouTube’s move to disable Press TV’s latest account comes as new evidence has emerged indicating the global Zionist lobby’s instrumental role in the video-sharing site’s decision to block the channel. It should be noted that when an account is disabled, the user will not be able to upload any new videos while previous videos are still available. An article on The New York Times links the ban on Press TV to two consecutive complaints made by the Anti-Defamation League, the global arm of Zionist propaganda.

An American journalist has slammed US media silence on the maintenance of massive amounts of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) by the Israeli regime and the US while merely pointing to Syria’s possession of such arms.
“America and Israel, both of them, maintain formidable nuclear, chemical and biological weapons arsenals. Russia’s UN representative says the newly unveiled report on the chemical attack of August 21 in Syria offers no “bulletproof data or conclusions” on who ordered it. The US and UK say the study confirms the regime was behind the attack. ● “The report is diligent but very technical.
