According to Kandahar officials, the attack took place early Thursday in the town of Shah Wali Kot, killing 15 "Taliban militants". - The Taliban have not yet confirmed the statement. The airstrike is the second of such attacks over the past 24 hours. On Wednesday, four people were also killed in a US-led airstrike in eastern Afghanistan.
