Permalink Israeli Apartheid and The Nakba-a new brilliant work by Anthony Lawson

There can be absolutely no doubt that Israel has created an inhuman, illegal and utterly disgraceful Apartheid state, and the international community will never be able to excuse itself if it takes no action against this blatant, ongoing and in-plain-sight crime against humanity.

Please join the millions of decent people around the world who are crying out against Israel's ongoing persecution of the Palestinians. Send the link to this video to your elected representative and make sure he or she does something about it. You have to ask yourself: If I keep quiet , will it ever end?

Permalink Clinton pledges 'unshakeable' bond with Israel

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Tuesday said the United States and Israel have a "close, unshakable bond" and that Washington remained absolutely committed to Israeli security. "We have an absolute commitment to Israel's security. We have a close, unshakable bond between the United States and Israel," Clinton told a news briefing, markedly softening the rhetoric after several days of sharp diplomatic exchanges over Israel's announcement of new settlement construction. AP News: The Obama administration's "fierce" denunciation of Israel last week has ignited a firestorm in Congress. AWIP: Netanyahu: Building in capital will go on.

[Editor's Comment:] Clinton was told by AIPAC to tone down the rethoric. So she obediently tones it down. This speaks volumes about who's in charge. The political establishment & the media have been thoroughly infiltrated by Zionists & Israel firsters. All of them serve Israel. Israel keeps humiliating us and our leaders talk about an "unshakable bond"? -Revolting!

The suspects include private contractors, military officers, and civilian officials.

Permalink US military created private spy and murder squad in Afghanistan

A long-time US military official used Pentagon funding to establish a private intelligence and assassination network in Afghanistan and Pakistan, according to a report Monday in the New York Times. The network was shut down after the CIA station chief in Kabul objected to a competing military-backed intelligence operation, the newspaper said. The article identified the official as Michael D. Furlong, a 25-year veteran of the Air Force who is now a senior Pentagon civilian employee, working at the US Strategic Command at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. He reportedly diverted money from a $22 million contract to gather cultural and political information about Afghanistan and funneled it to at least two private firms which employed former intelligence and military Special Operations personnel. Permalink POLICE STATE - NEW ORWELLIAN BILL COULD IMPRISON ANY US CITIZEN FOR LIFE

A new bill quietly introduced by congress last week is causing quite a stir among civil liberties groups. The brainchild of senators John McCain and Joe Lieberman, the bill would give the United States government the power to indefinitely detain terror suspects without charge or trial. It would also allow the government to interrogate them for the intelligence value and it doesnt make a distinction between US citizens and non-citizens.

Permalink Grayson to Palin....

On Friday night, Sarah Palin came to Orlando, and attacked Rep. Alan Grayson. This is what she said: "I got to meet quite a few candidates who are lining up in a contested primary who want to take out Alan Grayson. And I think Alan Grayson -- what can you say about Alan Grayson? Piper is with me tonight, so I won't say anything about Alan Grayson that can't be said around children.

Grayson said that the Alaskan chillbilly was welcome to return to Central Florida anytime, as long as she brings lots of money with her, and spends it. "I look forward to an honest debate with Governor Palin on the issues, in the unlikely event that she ever learns anything about them," Grayson added, alluding to Politifact's "liar, liar, pants on fire" evaluation of much of what Palin has said. Scientists are studying Sarah Palin's travel between Alaska and Florida carefully. They hope to learn more about the flight patterns of that elusive migratory species, the wild Alaskan dingbat. Permalink Member of European Parliament foresees the failure of the Euro -VIDEO

There does need to be a bailout for Greece. They are talking about a massive sum of €25 billion here. But the real problem of Greece might be bigger – the estimates say it might need as much as €55 billion by the end of this year. It’s hard to come to any satisfactory agreement. We just think the Euro is not sustainable when you have a weak economy like Greece tied in to strong economies like Germany. It just doesn’t work

Permalink Rachel Corrie: April 10, 1979 – March 16, 2003

We must never let Israel and all of its politicians who live in what used to be these United States of America think, even for one minute, that we do not know what that horrible country and its devoted loyalists here have done to our nation. I will not let them push the USS Liberty under the rug nor will I let them push Rachel Corrie there. Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to act.

Permalink U.S. Intelligence planned to destroy WikiLeaks, 18 Mar 2008

This document is a classifed (SECRET/NOFORN) 32 page U.S. counterintelligence investigation into WikiLeaks. ``The possibility that current employees or moles within DoD or elsewhere in the U.S. government are providing sensitive or classified information to Wikileaks.org cannot be ruled out''. It concocts a plan to fatally marginalize the organization. Since WikiLeaks uses ``trust as a center of gravity by protecting the anonymity and identity of the insiders, leakers or whisteblowers'', the report recommends ``The identification, exposure, termination of employment, criminal prosecution, legal action against current or former insiders, leakers, or whistlblowers could potentially damage or destroy this center of gravity and deter others considering similar actions from using the Wikileaks.org Web site''. [As two years have passed since the date of the report, with no WikiLeaks' source exposed, it appears that this plan was ineffective]. As an odd justificaton for the plan, the report claims that ``Several foreign countries including China, Israel, North Korea, Russia, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe have denounced or blocked access to the Wikileaks.org website''. The report provides further justification by enumerating embarrassing stories broken by WikiLeaks---U.S. equipment expenditure in Iraq, probable U.S. violations of the Chemical Warfare Convention Treaty in Iraq, the battle over the Iraqi town of Fallujah and human rights violations at Guantanamo Bay.

But many clues are now emerging about their ancestry, their way of life and even the language they spoke.
