Permalink All of the 4 arrested had been trained by the CIA and, possibly, Israel.

Last week’s breakin at Senator Mary Landrieu’s office in the New Orleans Federal Building was more than it seemed, much more. All of the 4 arrested had been trained by the CIA and, possibly, Israel. One arrested, Stan Dai, is listed as an Operations Officer of the Department of Defense Irregular Warfare Program and a known expert and lecturer on, not only surveillance but explosives training, assassinations and “false flag operations.” If you wanted a plane to crash, an enemy to get sick and die or a building to blow up, Dai would be the man to know how to make it happen. Problem is, his skills were being used as part of a criminal conspiracy inside the United States against members of our own government. Original reports on the “break-in” were also wrong. One of those arrested was found blocks away with a covert receiver, managing the office bugs. The man in the car is identified as Stan Dai, Operations Officer for the Department of Defense Irregular Warfare Program. TruthJihad: Mossad Comes to America: Death Squads by Invitation.

Permalink Former US spy confirms Rigi's CIA link, rejects ties

A former US intelligence official has admitted that CIA operatives in Pakistan had held talks with the Jundallah terrorist group led by Abdolmalek Rigi. Soon after the 9/11 attacks, a senior Jundallah member, acting on Rigi's behalf, approached CIA agents in Pakistan and told them the group would help the US against both Iran and al-Qaeda, prominent US weekly magazine Newsweek reveals in its March 1 issue. Permalink Watching Certain People

From 2004 through 2009, in a policy that has gotten completely out of control, New York City police officers stopped people on the street and checked them out nearly three million times, frisking and otherwise humiliating many of them. Upward of 90 percent of the people stopped are completely innocent of any wrongdoing. And yet the New York Police Department is compounding this intolerable indignity by compiling an enormous and permanent computerized database of these encounters between innocent New Yorkers and the police.

A human rights group and a think-tank alleged Tuesday that Uzbekistan's government has instructed health workers to surgically sterilize women as part of a campaign to reduce the birth rate of the authoritarian ex-Soviet nation. Uzbek health officials did not answer repeated telephone calls from The Associated Press to seek their comment about the allegation. However, previous human rights, United Nations and U.S. State Department reports also have alleged that women in the central Asian country have been forced or duped into sterilization. Uzbekistan's government retains strict Soviet-style control over health institutions in the predominantly Muslim nation of 27 million, whose population has been growing quickly.

But it's a big deal, arguably the most important set-piece speech in the Square Mile calendar. And only once before has City University, the host, deigned to invite an opposition politician primed for election to deliver it.
