Permalink Shaped Charges and the World Trade Center Collapses

The photograph (left) demonstrates that the WTC beams were not cut by welders.

Because of fuel and time constraints welders would have used a cutting torch to cut the shortest distance possible - straight across the beams. Also, cutting torches cut by forced oxidation, therefore the large amount of once liquid metal congealed on the beam would not be present.

Here's what demolition experts use in steel framed buildings, the linear shaped charge ... It generates around 3,000,000 psi pressure ... at a speed in excess of 27,000 feet per second ... There are over 1000 different types of explosive ... With the use of delays we can control ... where the debris lands ... vibration ... noise level.

The job of a shaped charge is to cut steel H-beams. "The way we do this is by cutting the beam at an angle which through a series of beams cut at the same angle will tend to make the building shift over and 'walk'" WRH: FEMA was in New York the Night Before 9/11.

Permalink Waterboarding sessions brought detainees ‘close to death’: report

The waterboarding sessions that terrorist suspects were subjected to during the Bush administration were "administered with meticulous cruelty" and were in part designed so that detainees acted as "guinea pigs" for future interrogation sessions, says an exhaustive new report. The report also shows that the interrogation methods were so harsh that some detainees "simply gave up and tried to let themselves drown." AWIP: Stomach-churning details of CIA waterboarding crimes - Internal CIA documents reveal a meticulous protocol that was far more brutal than Dick Cheney's "dunk in the water".

Permalink Ahmadinejad: Even war can not save Israel

"They think in their underdeveloped minds that if they launch another war against Lebanon or Syria it might help them survive a little longer. I am telling them that you are in a situation now that more aggressions or wars will not save you. [...] See what has become of Israel. They [the West] gathered the most criminal people in the world and stationed them in our region with lies and fabricated scenarios. They waged wars, committed massive aggression… and made millions of people homeless. [...] Today, it is clear that Israel is the most hated regime in the world… It is not useful for its masters [the West] anymore. They are in doubt now. They wonder whether to continue spending money on this regime or not. [...] But whether they want it or not, with god's grace, this regime will be annihilated and Palestinians and other regional nations will be rid of its bad omen."

Permalink Settlers destroy natural spring used by Palestinians for farming near Salfit

A group of Israeli settlers today destroyed a spring by the village of Qarawat Bani Hassan in the Salfit district. The settlers poured sand and cement into the spring, guarded by five armed members of the Israeli military. Palestinians from the village were forced to watch helplessly as events unfolded, prevented by the soldiers from moving close to the spring or from filming what was happening. International Solidarity Movement volunteers were able to secretly film for a short time before the soldiers noticed, and made both Palestinians and Internationals leave, saying that the area was now designated as a Closed Military Zone. Permalink Poll: Half of Israeli high schoolers oppose equal rights for Arabs

Nearly half of Israel's high school students do not believe that Israeli-Arabs are entitled to the same rights as Jews in Israel, according to the results of a new survey released yesterday. The same poll revealed that more than half the students would deny Arabs the right to be elected to the Knesset. The survey, which was administered to teenagers at various Israeli high schools, also found that close to half of all respondents - 48 percent - said that they would refuse orders to evacuate outposts and settlements in the Palestinian territories. "Jewish youth have not internalized basic democratic values," said Prof. Daniel Bar-Tal, one of the conference organizers. Christian Science Monitor: Why Israel jailed me for ‘talking too much’. Jerusalem Post: '50% against equal rights for Arabs': 56 percent of Jewish Israeli schoolchildren surveyed said Arab Israelis should be prevented from running for Knesset, while 50% of the Jewish youngsters who defined themselves as religious said they believe the “Death to Arabs” slogan was legitimate.

Permalink Israel plans 50,000 new homes in Jerusalem

On Thursday, the Israeli daily Haaretz quoted planning officials as revealing plans for some 50,000 new homes in al-Quds neighborhoods beyond the Green Line. The plans for nearly 20,000 of the apartments are already in advanced stages of approval and implementation, while plans for the rest are to be submitted to the planning committees, the paper detailed. The new buildings include 1,600 homes in the ultra-Orthodox Ramat Shlomo settlement in East al-Quds which were approved on Tuesday.

PressTV: Abbas, Biden "discuss" illegal Israeli settlements.

[Editor's Comment:] Both are powerless to do anything about the settlements because both are bought & paid for by Zionists in the US and Israel. Both are traitors. Abbas has outlived his usefulness and is about to be discarded. The empty-headed Mr. Biden will be permitted to stay on the scene for a while yet. He will eventually share Mr. Abbas' fate.

Permalink Having been removed in favor of Nazis, members of the Jewish family have been sheltering this winter in a tent on the sidewalk opposite their home of more than five decades.

Having been removed in favor of Israeli nationalist Jews, members of the Palestinian Ghawi family have been sheltering this winter in a tent on the sidewalk opposite their home of more than five decades in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah. For those who want to see a peaceful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the eviction of the Ghawis has touched on two sensitive nerves: the fate of East Jerusalem, where Israel and the Palestinians vie for control, and the abiding grievances of Palestinian refugees from the 1948 war.

Permalink US Special Agent 'planned cartoonist murder'

A blonde, blue-eyed, diminutive American woman special agent using the nom de guerre Jihad Jane has been revealed as an alleged terrorist who plotted to murder the Swedish artist vilified by Muslims because of his drawings of the Prophet Muhammad. Special agent Colleen LaRose, 46, is accused of travelling to Sweden to kill Lars Vilks in a false flag attack believing that her appearance would help her to move freely to carry out the attack. She was "arrested" by US authorities in October and has been quietly held in prison undergone the necessary training since then, but her alleged role as a "homegrown terrorist" who used the internet to recruit and join overseas groups emerged only yesterday after the indictment against her was unsealed by US authorities. AWIP/Colin A. Ross: The CIA Mind Control Doctors: From Harvard to Guantanamo.

[Editor's Comment:] This special agent now has outlived her usefulness and will disappear in the US prison gulag or be suicided.

Permalink Hundreds rounded up in Tibet crackdown

Hundreds of Tibetans are being rounded up and detained in Lhasa and armed paramilitary groups are patrolling the streets in advance of the anniversary of fatal riots in 2008, The Times has learnt. Authorities are anxious to avoid a repeat of the anti-Chinese attacks, in which about 20 people were killed when Tibetans rampaged through the city, setting fire to shops and offices. This month marks a particularly sensitive period in the region as March 10 is also regarded by Tibetans as the anniversary of the start of an abortive uprising against Chinese rule in 1959 that resulted in the Dalai Lama’s flight into exile in India.

Permalink Southern Poverty Law Center calls Americans who want laws enforced “extremist”

Heidi Beirich, director of research for the SPLC says that they consider these groups to be extreme because they tend to be confrontational with illegal aliens, “where they gather and protest right in their face and scream at them.” The SPLC claims that groups such as the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps to be just one step below a "hate group".

After the rather slanderous report came out, Dexter told the Virginian-Pilot: “I’m real surprised that they used those terms so loosely with people who care about their state and the nation. That’s unfortunate that they would publish something that sounds more like hatred related scare tactics.” Dexter continued: “It’s funny they should refer to us that way. It is absolutely not true. There’s no extremism.”

Permalink Israel undermining trust - Biden

The Israeli Government managed to overshadow a high-profile visit by US Vice-President Joe Biden with an announcement of controversial and politically highly sensitive plans to build 1600 new homes for Jewish residents in Arab East Jerusalem. The announcement from the Interior Ministry - which drew a sharp and swift rebuke from Biden himself - came only hours after the Vice-President had personally congratulated Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for "taking risks for peace".

Irish police on Tuesday arrested the seven -- four men and three women -- suspected of conspiracy to murder Vilks because of his cartoon, in an operation coordinated with US and European security agencies.
