Permalink US agrees to extradite imprisoned Pakistani woman

The United States has agreed to extradite Aafia Siddiqui - a Pakistani woman it had abducted and jailed - to her country under a prisoner exchange deal. - The US has offered Islamabad an agreement in which both sides will release each other’s inmates. The US government agreed to send back Siddiqui after finalizing the deal. The terms of the deal demand that Pakistan accept the ruling of a US court, in which Siddiqui was convicted on terror-related charges. The Pakistani woman also has to complete the remaining of her prison term in Pakistan. The swap deal is likely to be signed soon. Pakistan’s Interior Ministry has formed a task force to follow up on the US offer. Siddiqui was sentenced to 86 years in prison after she was convicted of grabbing a US soldier’s assault rifle and trying to shoot a group of FBI agents and soldiers at an Afghan police compound in July 2008. She denied the charge against her during the trial.

Permalink How Israel Spies on Us All through the NSA

The very same Israeli agents who had prior knowledge of the false-flag terror attacks of 9-11 - and who owned the electronic messaging system that was used to warn Israelis to avoid the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 - are behind the NSA's illegal and secret tapping of our phone calls. Is this just a coincidence or is it the conspicuous tip of Israel's criminal operations in the United States?
Israeli intelligence has secret access to all our private Communications. [This] means that it is able to use blackmail and other methods to control our politicians. Such criminal tactics may explain why criticism of Israel is so rare in Washington, D.C.
It is important to understand how the Israeli connection to the NSA gives the Israeli secret service access to all of the data that comes through the massive collection of our private phone calls and email. The Israeli hardware and software at the center of this spying give the Israelis access to all of this data in the same way that having an Israeli security company working at our airports gives them the keys to the back-doors.

Permalink 'Prolific Partner': German Intelligence Used NSA Spy Program

Angela Merkel and her ministers claim they first learned about the US government's comprehensive spying programs from press reports. But SPIEGEL has learned that German intelligence services themselves use one of the NSA's most valuable tools. Germany's foreign intelligence service, the BND, and its domestic intelligence agency, the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), used a spying program of the American National Security Agency (NSA). This is evident in secret documents from the US intelligence service that have been seen by SPIEGEL journalists. The documents show that the Office for the Protection of the Constitution was equipped with a program called XKeyScore intended to "expand their ability to support NSA as we jointly prosecute CT (counterterrorism) targets." The BND is tasked with instructing the domestic intelligence agency on how to use the program, the documents say. According to an internal NSA presentation from 2008, the program is a productive espionage tool. Starting with the metadata -- or information about which data connections were made and when -- it is able, for instance, to retroactively reveal any terms the target person has typed into a search engine, the documents show. In addition, the system is able to receive a "full take" of all unfiltered data over a period of several days -- including, at least in part, the content of communications.

Permalink Secret court extends NSA surveillance program

A secret court in the US has extended the authority of the National Security Agency to gather and keep data of phone calls made by millions of Americans despite the recent scandals engulfing the spying organization. - It is not the first time that the US Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act renews such authority but it is the first time that the move has been officially acknowledged. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence said in a Friday statement that the Obama administration was seeking “renewal of the authority to collect telephon metadata in bulk, and that the court renewed that authority.” The revelation of the spying programs by the former contractor at the NSA Edward Snowden more than a month ago directed the global spotlight on the surreptitious surveillance activities of the agency which is the US largest spying organization. Snowden also revealed that the NSA checked all the Internet communications across the world and drew ire from Europe when he disclosed the American agency has been spying on EU offices in the US as well as in Europe.

Permalink Israel-Palestinian Talks Going Nowhere, Slowly

Jason Ditz: Israel-Palestinian Talks Going Nowhere, Slowly - “Preliminary” talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) are nominally supposed to give way to specific peace talks and an eventual settlement. The US is talking this goal up, of course, but the indications are neither side really believes it, and is setting up for a timely failure. Instead of being about what the two sides can do to advance a settlement, the focus seems to be on what political advantage the leaders on either side can squeeze out of the lead-up to the talks, and treating the inevitable failure as an afterthought.

Eric Margolis: The Road to Nowhere - Kerry Mideast Journey - Watching this annual charade is both painful and exhausting. It makes cynics of the most idealistic hopers for Mideast peace. Israel holds all the cards, and knows it. Jewish settlements, roads, and security walls are roaring ahead, relentlessly gobbling up the occupied West Bank, Golan and their water resources. West Bank Palestinians are being crammed into future native Bantustans patterned after South Africa’s apartheid-era reservations for blacks.

Permalink Ex-MI6 boss threatens to expose secrets from Iraq ‘dodgy dossier’

The former head of MI6, Sir Richard Dearlove, said he’s going to reveal new details behind the ‘dodgy dossier’ if he disagrees with the findings of the Chilcot Inquiry into UK’s role in the Iraq War. - Dearlove provided intelligence about Saddam Hussein’s Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs) that was allegedly exaggerated and “sexed-up” by Tony Blair's government. The 68-year-old intelligence veteran has spent the last year writing a detailed account of events leading up to the Iraq War, which started in 2003. Initially, he intended to make his work available to historians after his death but Sir Richard told the Daily Mail that he could well change.

“What I have written (am writing) is a record of events surrounding the invasion of Iraq from my then professional perspective,” he wrote in an e-mail addressed to the paper. “My intention is that this should be a resource available to scholars, but after my decease (may be sooner depending on what Chilcot publishes). I have no intention, however, of violating my vows of official secrecy by publishing any memoir.”

Dearlove is expected to face criticism from the inquiry’s chairman, Sir John Chilcot, over the accuracy of intelligence provided by the MI6 agents inside Iraq, which was used in the so-called “dodgy dossier.”

Permalink 'Justice for Trayvon': Rallies hit 100 cities

Thousands of people have participated in rallies in more than 100 cities across the US, calling for "justice for Trayvon Martin" after jury's decision last week found George Zimmerman not guilty of shooting unarmed black teenager dead. - Trayvon Martin’s parents also joined the protests organized by the veteran civil rights activist Reverend Al Sharpton to push the US Justice Department to bring a civil rights case against Zimmerman. Martin's mother Sybrina Fulton was leading the Saturday rally along with Sharpton just outside police headquarters in New York. In New York about 200 people cheered as rapper Jaz-Z and his wife, the singer Beyonce, took to the stage. Fulton told the crowd that she was determined to fight for changes in society and in the law to ensure that back youths are no longer viewed with suspicion because of the color of their skin.

Permalink DHS Secret Assassination Squads?

Quick summary: There is substantial evidence that DHS is building up a massive weapons stockpile and preparing to wage a major internal war against the American people which is best described as a new Bolshevik type red terror. It has been using sophisticated methods of staging gladio style “inside-job” false-flag operations to create the necessary provocations they can use to justify a door to door attack on major American cities to disarm Americans and get control. The plan, unless stopped by the American people who must wake up and take their country back from foreign invaders who set up and now run the DHS, is to provoke a major civil war and then use it as a pretext to mass murder perhaps 80% or more of the populace either in battle or later in FEMA “relocation” or internment camps much like the Bolshevik Revolution and Red Terror in Russia, Maoist China, or Cambodia under Pol Pot.
