Permalink The Death Merchants of Tel Aviv

Haaretz reported today that there are more than 6,800 arms exporters working in Israel. - As of the end of 2012, there were “6,684 individuals dealing with security exports in 1,006 companies and 312 independent businesses. The Israeli Defence Export Controls Agency issued 1,900 marketing permits and 8,716 export permits.” Apparently some 6,684 Israelis are making a living selling death around the world. They are serving an industry that produces more than 150,000 jobs. However, the most crucial question here is how did the Jewish State become a death factory?

Permalink Greenwald: Snowden has enough information to cause US govt ‘worst damage in history’

Former NSA contractor and whistleblower Edward Snowden possesses dangerous information which could potentially lead to America's “worst nightmare” if it is revealed, according to the journalist who first published Snowden's leaked documents.

“Snowden has enough information to cause more damage to the US government in a minute alone than anyone else has ever had in the history of the United States,” Glenn Greenwald, the Guardian journalist responsible for publishing some of Snowden’s first leaks, told Argentina-based newspaper La Nación. “But that's not his goal. His objective is to expose software that people around the world use without knowing what they are exposing themselves to, without consciously agreeing to surrender their rights to privacy. He has a huge number of documents that would be very harmful to the US government if they were made public,” Greenwald said. He added that Washington should be exercising care in dealing with the Snowden because he has the potential to do further damage to the US. “The US government should be on its knees every day begging that nothing happen to Snowden, because if something does happen to him, all the information will be revealed and it could be its worst nightmare,” he said.

Permalink MASS SURVEILLANCE IN THE ORWELLIAN POLICE STATE

Orwell who knew all about these neo-Bolsheviks who have now wrapped their tentacles all over America. Out of the vast “haystack” of data, it is necessary only to find the “needles”. It’s like casting a net into the sea and catching every single fish for storage purposes, but then picking out only the biggest and most edible fish for “special treatment”. The spooks are not interested in the minnows, only in the sharks and killer fish—i.e., the “terrorists”. So they keep telling us. Naturally, we shouldn’t believe them, since they lie to us on principle. Understand this: everyone, no matter how insignificant, is of potential interest to Big Brother and the criminal syndicate that has its world headquarters in Tel Aviv. Anyone who has a guilty secret and can be blackmailed is of interest to these world class criminals. The more they know about you, the easier it is to silence you, coerce you, manipulate you, subjugate you, enslave you. That’s the New World Order for you: hatred, persecution, torture, power for power’s sake. So this is what Big Brother wants. He wants power. Omnipotence. One of the prerequisites of omnipotence is omniscience. And this is why Big Brother wants to know everything about you.

Permalink Swedish professor nominates Edward Snowden for the Nobel Peace Prize

A sociology professor in Sweden has recommended NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden for the Nobel Peace Prize. - In a letter addressed to the Norwegian Nobel Committee and published in Swedish newspaper Västerbottens-Kuriren, Professor Stefan Svallfors nominated Snowden for his 'heroic effort at great personal cost' shedding light on the expansive cyber-spying conducted by the U.S. National Security Agency. Because of his bravery, Snowden 'helped to make the world a little bit better and safer,' Svallfors wrote. A nomination for Snowden would be symbolic because it shows 'that individuals can stand up for fundamental rights and freedoms.'

Permalink Syrian army finds chemical materials belonging to militants in Joubar

The Syrian army has found toxic chemical agents after seizing a factory operated by foreign-backed militants fighting the government of President Bashar al-Assad. - The army says the chemical materials were found at the factory in the town of Joubar, which was used by militants before Syrian forces gained control of the area. The Syrian army also claims that the materials were intended to be used for making mortar shells. Over the past months, Syrian soldiers and Takfiri militants have frequently accused one another of using chemical weapons. On July 10, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the foreign-backed militants in Syria had used chemical weapons.

Permalink "More vulnerable" Israel may act before US on Iran - Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reiterated that Iran is moving “closer and closer” to building a nuclear weapon and warned that his county may take action against the Islamic Republic before the US acts. Netanyahu told CBS News that Iran is “edging up to the red line. They haven't crossed it yet…” but “they have to be told in no uncertain terms that that will not be allowed to happen." Netanyahu stressed that Israel was not willing to wait as long as the US to take action against Iran’s nuclear program. "Our clocks are ticking at a different pace. We're closer than the United States. We're more vulnerable. And therefore, we'll have to address this question of how to stop Iran, perhaps before the United States does," Netanyahu said. He explained that Tehran was building centrifuges at an accelerated pace, and that they may be nuclear-ready “within a few weeks.”

Permalink Britain to use secret evidence in court

The Justice and Security Act 2013 (JSA) came into force this month. The key provision contained within the legislation creates a new judicial procedure which will permit the use of secret evidence in any civil trial in the UK. The move represents a severe attack on the right to a fair trial and will supplement the vast array of repressive powers already at the disposal of the state. Under conditions of deepening social inequality and with social tensions rising, Britain’s ruling elite are trampling on fundamental democratic rights like their counterparts in the United States and across Europe. The new provision is known as “closed material procedure” (CMP). According to its terms, if the government decides to seek CMP in the course of a trial, a judge will have the power to decide to present evidence to the court in secret, without the defendant being granted access to the information. Only a “special advocate”, who is appointed by the government and given security clearance, would be party to the evidence.

Permalink Trayvon Martin’s killer, George Zimmerman, acquitted of all charges

Trayvon Martin’s killer, George Zimmerman, acquitted of all charges - The acquittal of George Zimmerman, the killer of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, is the reactionary culmination of a process that has from the start been a travesty of justice. The basic tragedy is the death of a young man who committed no crime and posed no danger to his assailant. This outrage was compounded by the initial refusal of the Sanford, Florida police to even charge the perpetrator. Now, a jury has allowed the self-appointed “neighborhood watchman” Zimmerman to walk free after having stalked and fatally shot an unarmed African American youth. The naked miscarriage of justice announced Saturday night has triggered protests in cities across the United States. From the political establishment, beginning with President Barack Obama, it has evoked pious and hypocritical admonitions to "respect" the verdict and honor the “rule of law.” Behind such sanctimonious statements from media commentators, lawyers and officially designated “civil rights leaders” is an awareness of the explosive state of social relations in America and the potential for an event such as the acquittal of Martin's killer to spark upheavals. Obama posted a brief statement on the White House web site Sunday that declared, “We are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken.” This was written by a president who has effectively suspended the Bill of Rights in order to carry out the illegal surveillance of the entire US population and untold millions more people around the world, and has ordered the drone assassinations of thousands of people, including American citizens. kenny's SideShow: The Verdict Is In: Media and Government Guilty - If there is anything positive in the Zimartin trial, it's that the media and federal government are proven liars, race-baiters and psyops managers. Left-right, up-down, there is enough guilt coming from all sides in this passion play that everyone should see exactly what is happening. We are being manipulated to divide us and to hate so that we can never come together to fight against our real enemies. This is working to some extent but it is not going as well as the ptb expected. Jon Rappoport spells out some of the failed engineering efforts as does Jim Dean and Sherrie among many others.

Permalink Bolivian leaders’ emails hacked by US - Morales

The US is prying into emails of top Bolivian officials, said Evo Morales, the Bolivian president, who admitted he has terminated his email account in light of the revelations. - Morales said he learned about the alleged US email spying at the Mercosur regional summit in Montevideo that was held earlier this week, AFP reported. "Those US intelligence agents have accessed the emails of our most senior authorities in Bolivia, Morales said in a speech. "It was recommended to me that I not use email, and I've followed suit and shut it down," he added. Morales’ accusation of US email spying is just the latest scandal to emerge between US and Latin American officials in the wake of the Snowden affair. Argentine Foreign Minister Hector Timerman told the same summit that more than 100 of his country's officials were also under electronic surveillance. He did not say what country he believed was responsible for the spying. The accusations come just one week after Morales’ presidential plane, which was returning from Russia, was banned from European airspace and forced to land in Austria in the belief that NSA leaker Edward Snowden, who is presently in Moscow, was on board. Bolivia [correctly] asserts that it was US officials who were behind the decision to ground Morales’ aircraft. During the Mercosur summit, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela and Uruguay showed allegiance with Bolivia, [correctly again] saying the incident violated international law.
