US drone strikes targeting a militant house and vehicle in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal area killed at least ten "suspected militants" [any human being whose life is extinguished when an American missile or bomb detonates] Sunday including two key militant commanders, security officials said, the second attack in 24 hours. - Two US drones fired four missiles at a house belonging to a suspected militant commander Malang Khan in Wacha Dana town, 10 kilometres west of Wana, the main town in the South Waziristan tribal district near the Afghan border, Pakistani security officials said. At the time of the attack, suspected militants were gathered to offer condolences to the brother of a militant commander killed during an American unmanned drone attack on Saturday. The brother was one of those who died in the Sunday morning attack.

Police Swarm Louisiana State Convention, Assault Chairman, Arrest Ron Paul Delegates. - The convention began peacefully with a prayer and invocation. Roger Villere, Chairman of the Louisiana Republican Party, then attempted to recognize the former Chair of the Convention’s Rules Committee who had been ousted from his position last night. When Alex Helwig, the newly elected Rules Committee chair, rose to address the delegation, Mr. Villere ordered him removed from the floor. Video footage shows Shreveport police dragging Mr. Helwig out of the room despite his protests that he was a duly elected delegate. At this point, a motion was made to elect a new convention chairman. Henry Herford, Jr., was elected by an overwhelming majority. Nevertheless, Mr. Villere – who had appointed himself the convention chairman – refused to relinquish control of the gathering. As the delegates began turning their chairs around, Mr. Herford, the newly elected chairman, rose to call the convention to order. Sources report that, in an act of desperation, Mr. Villere and state party officials then ordered police to attack Mr. Herford. Video footage shows an older gentleman in a blue shirt being violently dragged away by police and then shoved to the ground. When Mr. Herford protests that he is handicapped and would like to press charges for assault against the police officers, a Shreveport police officer is seen smirking in response. Sources report that Mr. Herford, 57, has a prosthetic hip that was dislocated during the assault.

Dozens in south Tel Aviv call for the deportation of African migrant workers; ‘the black presence is intimidating,” says victim. - An Israeli citizen of Ethiopian origin was assaulted Wednesday evening in Tel Aviv during a demonstration calling for the deportation of African immigrants, just a week following the violent protest in Hatikva neighborhood. Dozens of protesters gathered on Wednesday near the central bus station in south Tel Aviv demanding the deportation of African migrants from Israel. At one point of the demonstration, the protesters attacked Hananya Vanda, an Israeli citizen of Ethiopian origin who they mistakenly identified as an immigrant. After they realized Vanda is Jewish, the protesters said that they did not mean to attack him. Vanda suggested that Ethiopians in Israel are often the subject of discrimination, saying that "Sudanese are treated just like Ethiopians, the black presence is intimidating."
