Permalink The US Presidential Election 2012

The last honest American election took place long ago. Americans are not in charge. By habit & encouragement (propaganda) they still are going through the motions at Election Day even though they should know better. It does not matter one whit whom they actually vote for - whether Obama or Romney. Systemic vote fraud most likely will see to it that the election result will be what the elite intended. The corporate vote counting business has closed optical scan voting machines and DRE voting machines against inspections & independent verification. This means that vote fraud can go undetected. It is not a question of whether the voting machines can be hacked or not. (They both can and most likely will be.) It seems to us that the fundamental question this one: Are people still able to independently verify whether their votes have been counted correctly or not? Well, no. They cannot do this anymore. Now the only purpose of the election campaign is to get people to go and vote so that a fraudulent result can be foisted on them and be declared to be the "will of the people". Under these circumstances the only sensible thing to do is not to vote at all, not even for third party candidates. Americans would be fools to vote on November 6th. Stay home - 2012 is rigged! -The Editor

Permalink Oregon Department of Justice investigates alleged ballot tampering in Clackamas County as candidates consider legal action

A temporary elections employee allegedly tampered with ballots to cast additional votes for Republican candidates in Clackamas County, where several hotly contested races could tilt the balance of power in cities, the county and even the state legislature. - The Oregon Department of Justice confirmed that it has launched a criminal investigation but did not identify the female employee or disclose how many ballots might be affected. The department is investigating the matter promptly since the Nov. 6 election is just days away, said Jeff Manning, spokesman for the Department of Justice. On Friday, Oregon Secretary of State Kate Brown sent an elections observer to the Clackamas County Elections Office. Fred Neal, a retired elections manager with a decade of experience, is expected to be there for as long as it takes to process all the ballots, said Andrea Cantu-Schomus, spokeswoman for the Secretary of State's Office. He will review processes and procedures, including security plans. The unidentified elections worker allegedly cast votes for Republicans in races left blank, according to Willamette Week, which first reported the story. Tampering with ballots is a Class C felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison and a $125,000 fine.

Permalink Synthetic Biologist: Cloned Children, ‘Handpicked Genes’ Right Around the Corner

If you’ve been following the sci-tech section of any major news site over the past few years, chances are you have seen more than a few stories discussing the possibility of extending the highly problematic act of genetic modifications onto the human race. A step that has been foretold by science fiction novels and simultaneously discounted as conspiracy for years. According to one leading synthetic biologist with a passion for eugenics (meaning ‘selective breeding’) and cloning technology, it may be just around the corner. Scientist George Church envisions a world where traits are pre-determined by parents for their offspring — children created via cloning technology to create ‘better’ humans. He also claims to be creating Neanderthal cells within his laboratory, holding an inventory of Neanderthal ‘parts’ across the lab space. In the near future, he even plans to ‘create’ a Neanderthal baby within his lab.

Permalink Israeli forces kill Palestinian near Gaza border fence

A Palestinian has died after being hit by Israeli gunfire as he approached Gaza's border fence with Israel. - The Israeli military said the man was shot after ignoring warnings to stop. Palestinian medics said the man was unarmed and mentally ill. Israel prohibits anyone from entering the "buffer zone" it maintains inside Gaza to prevent attacks by "militants". The death on Sunday evening of the man, who was in his 20s, follows a recent escalation in cross-border "violence".

Permalink Masks banned in Canadian riots, just in time for Anonymous day of action

The Anonymous-affiliated are planning worldwide protests against government surveillance, as the following video declares: As always, Anonymous supporters are likely to don masks with the image of their patron saint.

But for the first time, the smiling black and white masks that shield the identity of those protesters will be illegal in Canada (if the protest stops being peaceful). It's not only the Anonymous-affiliated whose masks will be banned. Canada's House of Commons on Wednesday approved a bill that bans people from hiding their faces at all during riots. The bill, Bill C-309, was championed by Alberta Conservative Blake Richards, who said it was a response to last year's Stanley Cup riots in Vancouver, during which often-masked vandals smashed and lit fire to the city after their team lost to the Boston Bruins. Violators will be facing up to 10 years in prison if convicted of covering their face during a riot or other "unlawful assembly." The bill, which [allegedly] doesn't apply to protesters at peaceful demonstrations, passed 153-126.

Permalink Israel invests millions in drive for elite ‘cyber warriors’: Unit 8200

The Jewish state is facing a dire shortage of “cyber-combat troops” and is scouring the Jewish Diaspora for exceptional, teenage computer minds to recruit to its cyber unit Intelligence Corps Unit 8200, a leading Israeli newspaper reported on Thursday. - “It has become clear that the demand for soldiers in this field is growing, which is why we’re searching for solutions not only in Israel but abroad as well,” a top officer in the Manpower Directorate told the Yedioth Aranoth. The Israeli military has made cyber warfare a dominant priority as it looks ahead to the next five years. Military Intelligence Chief Major General Aviv Kochavi is reported to have allocated £320 million to his cyber programme. “Cyber readiness is one of the new pillars in our plan, including both defence and offence,” Major General Isaac Ben Israel confirmed. However, he described any suggestion that Israel is scouting abroad for cyber-warriors as “far fetched”, pointing out that the army has the pick of every Israeli 18 year-old obligated to three years military service.

In 2010, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the IDF to prepare fully for a war with Iran. The head of Mossad intelligence service and country’s chief of general staff opposed the move and prevented war with Iran, a documentary claims.

Investigative journalist Ilana Dayan produced an hour-long documentary for Israel's Channel 2 TV on the decision-making process in Israeli policy towards Iran over the last decade, from PM Ariel Sharon to PM Benjamin Netanyahu. The film, to be aired late on Monday, poses the question as to how far a politician can go in taking a “no return” decision to assault a foreign state he believes poses a threat to his country and whether he has the authority to do so unilaterally. The move was made during a meeting of “forum of seven” group that represents only a part of the Israeli government. Netanyahu addressed the now-retired Chief of General Staff Gabi Ashkenazi and actually ordered the head of the Israeli Defense Forces to “set the systems for P-plus,” which means full IDF readiness for an assault. The request met full support of the attending the meeting country’s Defense Minister Ehud Barak. The request put Israel on the brink of war with a country that has practically ten times Israel’s population and a modernized, fairly well-armed and respectively more numerous army. The demand met fierce objections on the part of Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi and the head of the Israeli intelligence service (Mossad) Meir Dagan, who had to step down after that notorious meeting.

Permalink Battleground Tracking poll: Mitt Romney, Barack Obama tied

With just two days to go until Election Day, Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama are tied in the race for president. - A new POLITICO/George Washington University Battleground Tracking Poll of 1,000 likely voters — taken Monday through Thursday of this past week — shows the two presidential candidates tied at 48 percent. It’s a fitting end to a presidential contest that has teetered on parity in recent months — Obama was ahead by one point in the Battleground poll last week, while Romney edged the president by two points the week before. History shows that most of the three percent of remaining undecided voters probably won’t go to the polls on Tuesday, so the winner will be determined by which candidate can turnout more of their supporters in the 10 or so competitive states.

Permalink How Bob the busking cat is heading to Hollywood

The enchanting bestselling story of a stray moggy who saved a man's life is set to be a movie

A bright afternoon in London’s Covent Garden and the cobbled streets are choc-a-bloc. Office workers rush to and from lunch, tourists mill around, and shoppers pop in and out of the smart boutiques. In the middle of them all sits a cat wearing a jaunty Union Jack neckerchief. Surrounded by a crowd of 30 open-mouthed spectators, Bob, a tubby ginger tom, smiles beatifically. Next to him, his owner James Bowen stands with his battered acoustic guitar, belting out a series of Oasis songs. Every now and then, he stops playing and bends down to Bob. ‘Come on, Bob, high-five!’ he says. Bob twitches his whiskers, raises a paw, and taps James’s outstretched hand. The crowd coos. A smart-looking lady in a pink dress and jacket pops a £20 note in the cap at Bob’s feet. It’s not every day that you see a cat sitting calmly in Central London, apparently unfazed by the blaring sirens, passing cars and general hubbub — but Bob is no ordinary cat. Bob, you see, is a star. He has his own Twitter account (with 12,000 followers), his own Facebook page, even his own fan group, the Street Cats, who send him photos, scrapbooks and presents. Oh yes, he also has his own bestseller and is in ‘talks’ with a Hollywood agent about taking his story to the big screen. Well, it’s Bob’s owner, James, who is leading the discussions, but he’s in no doubt that he owes it all to his cat.

Permalink US policies dominated by Zionist discourse: Alison Weir - Video

President of the Council for the National Interests Alison Weir says the US policies have consistently been dominated by the Zionist discourse, Press TV reports. - “Many of us know certainly here in the United States the power of the Israeli lobby is extremely significant and pervasive. This goes back for many decades,” Weir said. “If you go to our website, you’ll see the kind - I’m talking about millions and millions and millions of dollars among dozens of organizations that dominate Washington DC when it comes to policies in the Middle East, and it’s been going on for a long time,” she added. Weir went on to say that US presidential candidates have always been financially supported based on their policies towards the Zionist regime of Israel. “In the United States, back from over 60 years ago through today, campaign donations will come in on the side of candidates who promise to support Zionism and support Israel, and they will be opposed to candidates who say that they will not support Zionism,” she said. She also stated that there was “no doubt” about Israel’s war crime record and that it “has been well documented by numerous human rights organizations and legal entities.”

It’s not entirely clear when the US National Archives decided to block these searches.
