Permalink AIPAC: The Voice of America — Part 1: The Orange and the Pea

Although I have heard AIPAC pronounced in two distinct ways, one of which is A-PAC, I have chosen to pronounce the acronym with the same initial sound as in the word 'aisle'. To me, this pronunciation is more appropriate, because the use of the A for America sound is subtly misleading. The organization has nothing to do with A for America, it is all about I for Israel.

In the graphic illustration near the end of this video, had the mathematical relationships been absolutely accurate, either the Orange would have filled the screen or the pea would have been invisible. The discrepancy between the power AIPAC wields, compared to the rest of the American population, is immense, and that power benefits one nation: Israel.

Permalink Just Who Is This Guy, Obama?

Barack Obama is less of a person than an image— a brand. People see what ever they want as they do on a Rorschach test. But does anyone really know him? In fact, he is:

A man with no birth certificate.
A man whose birth records, both in the United States and Kenya, are sealed by government order.
A man whose childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, spied on U.S. military installations in Hawaii for the Soviet Union, edited a communist newspaper, authored pornographic novels, and wrote poetry in praise of Joseph Stalin.
A man who promised transparency in government, but has spent over a million dollars in legal fees hiding information that would determine his eligibility to be President.
A man whose academic records are sealed from kindergarten through law school.
A man who arrived in New York in June of 1981 without enough money to get a hotel room, but one month later flew to Indonesia and Pakistan.

Permalink Afghan ‘Exit Strategy’ Won’t Involve Removing Any Troops

A NATO summit in Estonia has culminated with the much-hyped “road map,” an exit strategy for the alliance from Afghanistan after nearly a decade of war. It will detail the alliance’s new strategy for the conflict and, as is so often the case, lower the bar for what constitutes ’success’ in the nation. Amazingly, initial indications are that the “exit strategy” won’t involve actually removing any troops, but instead will hand over select provinces to the Karzai government while keeping the NATO troops there too for support. This “handover” is expected to last decades, though officials were quick to note it was “not calendar-driven.”

[Editor's Comment:] It may take decades alright, but they don't have to worry, the brave Mujahedeens will "remove" them all for them, one by one. You don't need a crystal ball to see what's coming: dead US "soldiers" & contractors. -Lots of 'em. (See item below.)

Permalink 14 U.S-NATO and Afghan soldiers killed in Zabul

At least 8 U.S minion soldiers of ANA were killed in fighting with Mujahideen as their outpost got attacked by Mujahideen in Shinki district of Zabul province, on Friday. Mujahideen overrun the outpost, torching their military vehicle in the clash. Minutes later, one of the reinforcement tanks, which was about to reinforce the area, got blown up by an IED blast and destroyed, killing 6 U.S-NATO soldiers on board.

Permalink Five Israelis, including a retired army general, charged with organ trafficking

Israel has charged five of its citizens, including a retired army general, with operating a nationwide organ trafficking ring that ensnared dozens of potential victims. The charges include human trafficking for the purpose of organ harvesting and money laundering.

Permalink British Airways leaves stranded passengers all over world, jacks up prices on tickets home

After last week's volcanic eruption, British Airways passengers are stranded all over the world (I'm one of them). BA is rebooking people who hold paid for, cancelled ticket for return flights as late as May 10, but are selling tickets on flights leaving tomorrow for thousands of pounds to the wealthy who want to get home as quickly as possible. BA has had a year of terrible behavior and service, screwing its union by trying to unilaterally impose a contract on its workers without negotiation, but this takes the cake.

Permalink 10 Things You Don’t Know (or were misinformed) About the GS Case

I have been watching with a mixture of awe and dismay some of the really bad analysis, sloppy reporting, and just unsupported commentary about the GS case. I put together this list based on what I know as a lawyer, a market observer, a quant and someone with contacts within the SEC. (Note: This represents my opinions, and no one elses). Permalink Britain: Murdoch's newspaper The Sun has been found to be discarding political poll results it has commissioned if they don't say what it wants

The Sun newspaper failed to publish a YouGov poll showing that voters fear a Liberal Democrat government less than a Conservative or Labour one. The Liberal Democrats accused the newspaper, which is owned by Rupert Murdoch, of suppressing the finding. The paper, which endorsed Labour in the past three elections, declared its support for David Cameron during the Labour Party's annual conference last October. Like other Tory-supporting papers, it has turned its fire on Nick Clegg over his policies, pro-European statements and expenses claims since he won last week's first televised leaders' debate.

Permalink ZIO WEBSITES ATTACK JOURNALIST WHO DARES TO WRITE THE TRUTH

For those of you that might not be aware, the journalist spoken about on this post, Khalid Amayreh, has been an Associate of this Blog for quite some time. An attack against him, verbal or otherwise is an attack on all of us. An Israeli news-and-views website affiliated with the Nazi-minded Gush Emunim movement, which spearheads the manifestly- fascist settler movement, has attacked and incited against a Palestinian journalist for criticizing Ed Koch, the supremacist Jewish ex- mayor of New York. Koch, a notorious Israel-firster and supporter of Jewish territorial aggrandizement, recently urged President Obama to give Israel a free rein to steal more Arab land in the West Bank and build more Jewish-only settlements in occupied Arab-East Jerusalem. The journalist, Khalid Amayreh, described Koch in a recent article as “an irredeemable liar who lies as often as he breathes Oxygen and who tries to brainwash people’s minds about the reality of Israeli Nazism as embodied by the Satanic creature known as Israel.”

Permalink Bombs kill 60 in Iraq days after al-Qaida CIA/Blackwater killings

A series of bombings mainly targeting Shiite worshippers killed at least 60 people on Friday, officials said, just days after U.S. and Iraqi collaborator forces killed the top two "al-Qaida" leaders in Iraq in what was described as devastating blow to the insurgency Resistance.

[This image provided by the U.S. Coast Guard shows fire boat response crews battle the blazing remnants of the off shore oil rig Deepwater Horizon Wednesday April 21, 2010. The Coast Guard by sea and air planned to search overnight for 11 workers missing since a thunderous explosion rocked an oil drilling platform that continued to burn late Wednesday. (AP Photo/US Coast Guard)]

NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- No oil appeared to be leaking after a drilling rig exploded and sank in the Gulf of Mexico, the Coast Guard said Friday, though officials were trying to contain what spilled from the blast and prevent any threat to the coast's fragile ecosystem. The search continued for 11 workers missing after the explosion late Tuesday on the Deepwater Horizon. Family members have said they had been told they probably did not survive. The rig burned for nearly two days until it sank Thursday morning. The fire was out, but officials initially feared as much as 336,000 gallons of crude oil a day could be rising from the sea floor nearly 5,000 feet below.

Permalink Australia, NZ condemn whaling plan

Environment groups say the International Whaling Commission's (IWC) proposal to allow some whales to be killed is a return to commercial whaling. The IWC's proposal would let whalers harpoon 400 minke whales and 10 fin whales each year in Antarctic waters until the 2015-2016 season. Fin whales are an endangered species and green groups say the only reason their numbers are strong again is because of the ban on commercial whaling. Australia says it will not support the proposal and in a surprise twist New Zealand has also said it will not support it.

Permalink EPIC FAIL: Fox News hit piece against 9/11 truth and Jesse Ventura inadvertently reveals a shocking truth; WTC leaseholder was "on the phone with his insurance carrier to see if they would authorize the controlled demolition of the building"

A Fox News hit piece against Jesse Ventura and the 9/11 truth movement written by former Washington D.C. prosecutor Jeffrey Scott Shapiro inadvertently reveals a shocking truth, that World Trade Center leaseholder Larry Silverstein, who collected nearly $500 million dollars in insurance as a result of the collapse of Building 7, a 47-story structure that was not hit by a plane but collapsed within seven seconds on September 11, was on the phone to his insurance carrier attempting to convince them that the building should be brought down via controlled demolition. Permalink Netanyahu Commits to Colonizing East Jerusalem; First Palestinian Expelled under new Policy

The new Israeli policy of deporting Palestinians from the West Bank on arbitrary grounds has kicked in with Ahmad Sabah, who has just been deported to Gaza and separated from his family in the West Bank. The measure contravenes the Geneva Convention of 1949 on the treatment of occupied populations, and it also goes contrary to the undertakings Israel made toward the Palestine Authority in the course of the Oslo peace negotiations.
