COVID 2.0 is the final exam to see who is stupid enough to still have not learned the lessons from the training round. However, this “final exam” is more like a final solution, and those who fail this round of the global IQ test will find their projected lifespan rapidly shrinking.

French journalists have reported the sound of gunfire in the capital, Libreville | A group of uniformed Gabonese soldiers have appeared on national television to announce the dissolution of all state institutions and the cancellation of the country’s disputed elections, after longtime leader Ali Bongo was declared the winner of last week’s presidential race. ● The soldiers delivered a live address early on Wednesday morning, stating they would “defend peace by putting an end to the current regime” while claiming to speak on behalf of the “Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions,” AFP news agency reported. ● A spokesman for the group denounced the “irresponsible, unpredictable governance” of President Ali Bongo, claiming his 14 years in office had resulted in a “deterioration in social cohesion that risks leading the country into chaos.” Following the address, journalists with AFP also reported the sound of gunfire in Gabon’s capital, Libreville, though it is unclear whether clashes were underway.

The European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA) comes into force today, obliging “very large online platforms” to swiftly take down what unelected European Commission bureaucrats decide to define as ‘disinformation’. | As Laurie Wastell points out in the European Conservative, the DSA obliges online platforms to swiftly take down so-called disinformation. From today, the EC has at its disposal an aggressive enforcement regime, such that if Big Tech companies fail to abide by the EU’s ‘Strengthened Code of Practice on Disinformation’, which requires swift censorship of mis- and disinformation, then they can be fined up to 6% of their annual global revenue, investigated by the Commission, and potentially even prevented from operating in the EU altogether. ● In the words of EC President Ursula von der Leyen, it is vital that companies censor disinformation of this kind to “ensure that the online environment remains a safe space”. Safe for whom, one wonders — politicians or citizens?

Dystopian future in black and white – funded by the UK Government | In seven years you might not be allowed to own car, only be allowed to buy three new pieces of clothing per year, take one short-haul return flight every three years and consume no meat whatsoever, thanks to plans drawn up by a group chaired by Sadiq Khan. ● Documents that many may not be aware of show him as the chairman of C40 Cities, which describes itself as a ‘global network of nearly 100 mayors of the world’s leading cities that are united in action to confront the climate crisis’. ● So-called ‘ambitious targets’ include reducing the number of new clothing items each person is allowed to buy to three per year and banning private car ownership by 2030 – plans which would surely mean an end to many businesses, thus trashing the economy further than it already is.

But then again, I am beginning to ask myself if we are actually still living in a democracy. | The doctor who made the decision based her judgment on Haaland’s Facebook posts. In her opinion Haaland displayed manic behaviour, was psychotic and paranoid, and his actions were deemed not to be rooted in reality. This conclusion was reached based on the frequency and the content of the various Facebook posts. When Haaland’s lawyer asked the doctor if she had read the posts in question, the doctor admitted that she hadn’t, given that she is not on Facebook! ● This is about a Norwegian man named Trond Harald Haaland. He has long been outspoken about things like the World Economic Forum, climate change and vaccine passports. He has posted a lot about the excess death rates we have been seeing after the roll out of the mRNA vaccines.

It’s been an astonishing couple of days for German judges. Well, “astonishing” if you’ve been living in a cave for the last four years. | Many of you likely already know that satirist and playwright (and frequent OffG contributor) CJ Hopkins is being prosecuted in Germany for “disseminating propaganda, the contents of which are intended to further the aims of a former National Socialist organization,” All because the cover of his book has a swastika on it. Needless to say, the charges are absurd. Insultingly so. You can read CJ’s first-hand account of this nonsense here and here. Anyone who isn’t a) stupid or b) delusional can plainly see these charges have nothing to do with a stock-image swastika, and everything to do with the content of the book. In short, they are politically motivated charges brought against an author for criticizing the state. The very essence of dystopian tyranny.

We know that COVID numbers are actually on the rise again – in part due to the American government’s absolutely disastrous vaccine policy. | As Dr. Peter McCullough wrote this week, “there is no doubt we are starting another outbreak of COVID-19, this time Omicron variants EG.5 and FL.1.5.1 taking the lead in proportions.” Dr. McCullough warns that this surge could last 3 to 6 months. As we learned time and time again during the pandemic, our government will use any increase in COVID numbers as a justification to force masks, lockdowns and vaccine passports on the American public. Will this new surge lead to another round of masks and lockdowns? Only if we allow it. Conservatives all across social media are urging patriots to “not comply” if restrictions return. These voices are absolutely correct, we need to stand strong and refuse to go along with these violations of our basic freedoms. There is more that we can do however, we can also BE PREPARED.

Just when you may have thought things couldn’t get any crazier: American playwright and humorist C.J. Hopkins, profiled in this space on numerous occasions, has been sent a “punishment order” by a German judge, offering him a Sophie’s Choice of 60 days in jail or 3,600 euros. | Essentially, insulting the German health minister in a tweet, and using a scarcely-visible image of a Swastika on a mask in a book critical of the global pandemic response, The Rise of the New Normal Reich. ● He was first accused of this “crime” in June, shortly after Roger Waters was placed under investigation for wearing his clearly satirical “Pink” costume in a stage performance in Berlin. ● As I wrote when C.J. was charged weeks later, authorities claim that through the use of the mask image, C.J. was “disseminating propaganda, the contents of which are intended to further the aims of a former National Socialist organization.” ● The judge in C.J.’s case has already heard free-speech argumentation from his lawyer, and this technically being a non-jury misdemeanor offense, has already ruled against those arguments. C.J. will apparently have a chance to argue for mitigation, but the decree has already been handed down.

YouTube has introduced a new “medical misinformation policy” that will censor any medical or health-related content that doesn't align with claims made by the World Health Organization (WHO). | YouTube earlier had a “COVID-19 Misinformation Policy” webpage that stated that the platform doesn’t allow any content that “poses a serious risk of egregious harm” and spreads “medical misinformation” contradicting what the WHO or local health authorities (LHA) say about the COVID-19 pandemic. The webpage now redirects to a “medical misinformation policy” page that expands the censorship rule to “specific health conditions and substances” rather than COVID-19 alone.

"Germany" is debating whether to ban the far-Right Alternative for Germany (AfD) as the party surges to 21 per cent in the polls, amid warnings from intelligence officials that its members are becoming increasingly "extreme". | Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the German president, warned in a speech to the country’s domestic intelligence agency that “we all have it in our hands to put those who despise our democracy in their place”. ● His speech at the castle where the German post-war constitution was created has widely been seen as support for a ban after Thomas Haldenwang, the domestic spy chief, warned about growing Right-wing extremist influence in the party. ● Mr Haldenwang said: “We see a considerable number of protagonists in this party that spread hate against all types of minorities here in Germany.”

The company did not provide any information about the nature of these alleged "multiple or severe violations," or how Ritter's mostly Ukrainian crisis-related commentaries and interviews constitute "hate speech." YouTube allows for user-based reporting of any alleged "hate speech," prompting concerns from content creators over the years that the video hosting giant may allow organized online activists to silence voices and views that they might not like, or which challenge important state and corporate narratives. ● Ritter is no stranger to censorship by major online platforms. Last year, he was suspended from Twitter after calling Joe Biden a "war criminal" and accusing him of "seeking to shift blame for the Bucha murders" on Russia. He was later reinstated, but suspended again after a "test, test, test" tweet stating that "Bucha was a war crime," and that "Ukraine did it."

With the conclusion of the lawsuit, the city is admitting fault and admitting they had no right to shut down services. The $300,000 settlement pays for the legal fees of the 3 defendants with about $150,000 leftover to go to the persecuted believers.

Will Americans be duped again into complying with high-pressure masking, group-think, forced lockdowns, and repeated mRNA jabs? | Last week on Friday, July 21, the Biden administration quietly announced the creation of a new permanent office within the White House called the Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy, or OPPR. Joe Biden has named a military man, retired Air Force Maj. General Paul Friedrichs, to head up the new office. ● Why now? I thought Covid was over. Biden said months ago Covid was over, totally conquered. The only folks I know who are still getting Covid are the ones who got multiple mRNA Covid jabs, causing their immune-compromised bodies to continue to manufacture the toxic spike proteins, which then make them sick. We also continue to hear weekly of young healthy people who are dying “suddenly” with no warning. By creating this new office and emphasizing that it will be “permanent,” this is a red flag that should have our keen attention. Is the government, still drunk with new powers gained from the last pandemic, telegraphing to us plebeians that another pandemic is right around the corner?

De-Banking Should Sound the Alarm | Cancellation of bank accounts belonging to customers who do not hold corporate-sanctioned views is a sign we’re on the road to Orwell’s dystopian nightmare. Coutts cancelling Nigel Farage’s bank account for holding unfashionable views should be a wake-up call for us all – it is just the tip of the iceberg. This politically motivated cancellation born out of “woke capitalism” is alarmingly widespread. You don’t have to agree with Farage’s politics to agree with him that something has gone terribly wrong in the institutions. Banks de-banking customers for their views is also a forewarning of the totalitarian regime that will be ushered in if central bank digital currencies (“CBDCs”) become the sole form of “currency” to buy and sell.

Sixteen Republicans in Michigan — including former state co-chairwoman Meshawn Maddock — are being prosecuted by Democrat Attorney General Dana Nessel for putting themselves forward as alternative electors after the 2020 election results were contested. AG Nessel accuses the would-be electors – who average out at 69 years old between them – of having “undermined the public’s faith in the integrity of our elections,” and has hit each of them with eight felonies, among them forgery, conspiracy to commit forgery, and election law forgery. Several of the charges carry prison terms of up to 14 years.

'The list was made in response to a request from the Boston Police Department after the mayor had been harassed and physically intimidated by individuals for several months outside her home, at city functions such as the annual neighborhood parks coffee hours, and other public events,' Ricardo Patron said in a statement. Notable names on the list of 15 people include several local restauranteurs who have sued Wu's administration, alleging that she's biased against Italians and white people.

It is predicated on the under-standing that no government official has a monopoly on the truth and that every American is capable of evaluating competing claims and deciding what to believe. ● On February 15, 2023, as part of its investigation into the federal government’s role in censoring lawful speech on social media platforms, the Committee on the Judiciary issued a subpoena to Meta,2 the parent com-pany of Facebook and Instagram, and Alphabet,3 the parent company of Google and YouTube. Documents obtained in response to those subpoenas revealed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), on behalf of a compromised Ukrainian intelligence entity, requested—and, in some cases, directed—the world’s largest social media platforms to censor Americans engaging in constitutionally protected speech online.
