Permalink Original Bashir interview that contradicts Washington’s account of killing bin Laden

A website in the UK, themindrenewed.com, that downloaded the video from the link in my original report of the Pakistani TV interview with Mohammad Bashir has posted the interview with the original English subtitles. You can view it HERE.
This interview of an eyewitness to the entire event is powerful evidence that the Obama regime’s story of the killing of Osama bin Laden and his burial at see is a hoax and a lie. Pakistani Samaa TV confirms that Bashir is who he says he is and that he lives next to the alleged bin Laden compound. Samaa TV also confirms that neighbors knew the residents of the “compound.” There has never been any mention of the Bashir interview in the presstitute media. Mohammad Bashir, Abbottabad resident and neighbour to the alleged “compound” of Osama bin Laden, gives his eyewitness account of what he saw happen on 2 May 2011 (local time), when – according to the official story – US Navy SEALs assassinated Osama bin Laden. In this interview, soon after the event, with a Pakistan national TV station (Samaa.tv), Bashir gives an account which fundamentally contradicts the official story.

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts returns to the Podcast for a detailed analysis of the claimed "assassination" of Osama bin Laden by US Navy SEAL Team 6 in 2011, and to discuss the many disturbing questions surrounding the suspicious deaths of so many of that Team in the subsequent helicopter shoot-down in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011. Dr. Roberts also discusses false-flag operations, gives an update on Syria, comments upon the ongoing revelations about the NSA and gives his reaction to the 2013 US Government Shutdown. Permalink Nearly 1000 died in Nigeria army custody: Amnesty

Rights group Amnesty International says nearly 1,000 people have died in Nigerian detention facilities. In a statement published on Tuesday, Amnesty said it had “credible information” that more than 950 suspected members of the Boko Haram militant group died in custody of the Nigerian military's Joint Task Force (JTF) in the first six months of 2013. “A large proportion of these people are believed to have died in Giwa military barracks in Maiduguri, Borno state and Sector Alpha, commonly referred to as ‘Guantanamo’ and Presidential Lodge (known as ‘Guardroom’) in Damaturu, Yobe state,” the statement read.

Permalink The perfect epitaph for establishment journalism

Glenn Greenwald: "If MI5 warns that this is not in the public interest who am I to disbelieve them?", says the former editor of The Independent Like many people, I've spent years writing and speaking about the lethal power-subservient pathologies plaguing establishment journalism in the west. But this morning, I feel a bit like all of that was wasted time and energy, because this new column by career British journalist Chris Blackhurst - an executive with and, until a few months ago, the editor of the UK daily calling itself "The Independent" - contains a headline that says everything that needs to be said about the sickly state of establishment journalism: "If MI5 warns that this is not in the public interest who am I to disbelieve them?" In other words, if the government tells me I shouldn't publish something, who am I as a journalist to disobey? Put that on the tombstone of western establishment journalism. It perfectly encapsulates the death spiral of large journalistic outlets. Lest you think that the headline does not fairly represent the content of the column, Blackhurst, in explaining why he would never have allowed his newspaper to publish any of the documents from NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, actually wrote.

Permalink Palestinian village continuously inhabited for 3,000 about to be destroyed by Israel

“Settling” constitutes a warcime according to international law and ICC statute. Even under US’ own military legislations’. The Israeli High Court is set to rule on the forced expulsion of all of the residents of the village of Khirbat Zanuta, southwest of Hebron in the southern West Bank on Monday. The decision comes five years after the initial order was made by the court to demolish the village. That decision was put on hold when an appeal was filed on behalf of the villagers by the Association for Civil Rights in Israel. According to the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, “Last year, a Jewish expansionist organization named Regavim succeeded in reviving the case by filing an amicus-curia request; soon thereafter, the state submitted its full response to the petition. In April 2012, the Civil Administration issued additional demolition orders for new structures in the village, including several cisterns (ACRI is arguing that objections to the new orders should be joined to the original petition, but the Civil Administration disagrees). The Supreme Court heard additional arguments on July 30, 2012. During the hearing, the justices delivered harsh criticism of the State for its intent to demolish the village without suggesting a solution for its residents.” But the decision on Monday is expected to result in the forced expulsion of all of the village’s inhabitants, who have lived on the land of their ancestors for as long as they can remember. They consider themselves stewards of the ancient archaeological site on which they live and tend their sheep, and have prevented any looting or destruction of artifacts on the site.

Permalink Geneva Nuclear Talks: Iran Bets on Easing of Sanctions

Matthias Gebauer & Gregor Peter Schmitz United States Secretary of State John Kerry will not travel to Geneva, at least as things currently stand. But his absence at the next round of nuclear talks between Iran and six world powers is unlikely to cast much of a shadow. After all, American-Iranian relations have been suffused lately with an almost unhealthy euphoria. First Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Jawad Sharif met in person at the United Nations headquarters in New York. Then President Hassan Rohani spoke by phone with his American counterpart, Barack Obama. Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khameini even gave his blessing to Rohani's contact with the former "Great Satan." But such exuberance could vanish at talks on Tuesday and Wednesday in Switzerland. Iran will meet with representatives of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, as well as Germany. A source at the European Union says the new round of talks offers "a real chance" for progress. But one thing must be made clear: Without any substantial concessions on Tehran's part, any rapprochement will soon be forgotten.
