Republican chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, Peter King, vowed to continue to hold hearings on "Radicalization of American Muslims." On March 10, King's star witness against Islam was professing Muslim medical doctor Zuhdi Jasser. While these hearings were going on, James Clapper, the director of US National Intelligence, told the Senate Armed Services Committee “the Gadaffi regime will prevail” and the rebels do not have the power to resist. Concurrently, the State Department announced that the US lacks "legal authority" to act against Libya. All of these parties acted in concert to sell out the Libyan revolution.

A Lecture to Strait Gate Ecclesial 2/1/2011

Good evening fellow followers of Jesus' teaching. Robert Services, a men's poet of the Alaskan gold rush who served as an ambulance driver in World War I but refused to enter combat, wrote these words 93 years ago.

Far and near, high and clear,
Hark to the call of War.
Over the gorse and the golden dells,
Ringing and swinging the clamorous bells,
Praying and saying of wild farewells:
War! War! War!

Today the people of Egypt have revolted against a tyrant who has repressed them and helped Israel repress Gaza Arabs into bondage worse than any Pharaoh ever did. As I speak to you, American National Guard units have been quietly activated to go to Egypt. Will they help free the people? Sadly, our own history tells us they go to support a new Egyptian tyrant, just as they support the puppet governments of Iraq and Afghanistan, and every act of Israel.

Since World War I, war and preparation for more war has never stopped for a single generation. As an American-born follower of Christ, I place the blame for the victims of serial wars at home and abroad on church leaders, and for the destroyed dreams of the suffering people in Gaza and Cairo--not all of the pastors, but many. They alone have the responsibility to know the truth and tell it, regardless of the cost. They must respect life as a gift from God. War respects no life.

Truth is the product of Jesus’ work. But those who preach from mega-church pulpits claiming to follow Jesus have been playing the Monopoly war game with the bankers and politicians. No religious sect has ever been more clearly responsible for so much bloodshed and destruction as “Christian-Zionism.” This 100-year old departure from fundamental Christianity has almost single-handedly legitimized wars upon Arab people since January 1991.

Zionism denies basic teaching of Jesus and the Prophets

The church centered society that makes up the largest voting block in the US practices the reverse of what its leaders say they believe. American Southern Baptists and most non-denominational mega-bible-churches, often led by TV celebrities, have in common a profession that the Bible is the literal, inerrant word of God, preserved by His hand in context. But in practice leaders teach not from the words but from footnotes and commentaries to the bible written by various men who tell us what they think the bible means. Only by resorting to man made distortions are leaders able to support the Zionist political machine that thrives on war.

A growing list of authors recognize what this mere hundred year old sub-sect of supposed Christianity is doing, but unfortunately most of them have stopped short of explaining why and how Zionist leaders get away with it. Pastor John Hagee and novelist Tim Lehey are anything but literal in their reading of the Bible; rather they present the most fanciful and abusive distortion of Christ following ever seen on the planet, including Mormonism.

Once more there are too many Christian Zionist to be ignored. A Gallup poll May 25, 2007, stated that "about one-third of Americans today believe the Bible is absolutely accurate and that it should be taken literally word for word." Pew Foundation has repeatedly confirmed Gallup's number that adds up to about 100 million people. Other polls tell us these misled "literalists" tend to vote in a block generally identified today as Christian Right.

This writer left the Gaza Strip on March 10th. During the preceding week over 100 Palestinians were killed and hundreds were wounded and a number of Israelis died. I interviewed Muslims and Christians Arabs, including evangelicals; a co-ed college English class; a PLO officer and a United Nation aid worker--both off the record; the chairman of a mental health organization treating traumatized children; a businessman resident of a refugee camp; a young Muslim woman named Shireen who wanted to talk to America on the record; a number of workers and numerous youths in several Internet cafés and several Israeli travelers and businessmen. I also witnessed and photographed from my rooftop an Apache helicopter raid that killed four Palestinians and wounded 30 more. The edition(s) to come will lay the blame for the 52-year slaughter and suggest a low-cost, no-lives-lost solution to the problem and a humane course for Americans to follow.

Two friends accompanied me when I walked out of Gaza, the same way I had walked in --through a 600-meter barricaded gauntlet at Ares gate. As before, no one but me entered or left this crowded non-country of more than a million persons during the half hour that it took to process out. Consider this one incredible fact there is virtually no human traffic in or out of Palestine. At the only border crossing where people are allowed to pass through not one human soul went in or came out.

Eight years of Biofuels (ethanol) policy and legislation has cemented in place the first world wide food cabal, which promises a humanitarian disaster, a famine more serious than those caused by any tsunami, earthquake or drought. This crisis is not in the dim future, it is here.

Congress has, in a series of acts passed in this millennium, handed the perfect monopoly to what appears to be few giant agribusiness companies that already have enormous economic power, but which may be a much broader cabal.

If you can afford $6.00 a gallon for milk, $4.00 for a loaf of bread and still have money left over for a $50.00 steak at Outback, you may be prepared for 2008, but what about the future? Even if you and I may think we are prepared financially to buy food, whatever the cost, we must have concern for the billion souls who are not and who are condemned to starvation by the corn-to-alcohol conversion scheme.

Subsidies do not make the giant agribusiness firms criminals, only opportunists. Their Public Relations distortion about the value of grain alcohol as fuel is criminal. Congressmen are the real cheats, for they could acknowledge this if they wanted to, but they do not, so they share in the crimes—grand theft and murder by starvation. This being a “Christian” society, it falls to those who heed Jesus Christ’s repeated admonitions to feed the needy and protect those who cannot protect themselves to stop corn-to-alcohol conversion. Make no mistake this is a moral issue.
