Climate Gate: Where Politics and Religion Unite

Anthropogenic, or manmade, global warming is not open to debate. High Priest Al Gore said so. And how do we know this?

The climatology scriptures (peer review journals) proved it. If warming skeptics had legitimate claims, so the argument goes, then naturally their arguments and supporting data would appear in such journals – a persuasive argument, ably assisted by the fact that global warming zealots controlled those journals.

Problem is, at least one such peer review journal broke ranks *gasp* and, in Galilean fashion, began publishing articles questioning “The True Faith” of climatology. Heresy!

How does the Church of Global Warming deal with heresy? Well, burning at the stake would impose too large of a carbon footprint, so instead they resort to the age-old traditional method of shunning.

Enter “Climate gate,” the recent disclosure of certain East Anglia emails (East Anglia is, in short, the Vatican of global warming theology, or, research), and some of the disclosed emails provide insight into the secretive workings of the Brotherhood of Climatologists.

One March 2003 email from Michael Mann of Pennsylvania State University described in great candor how to shun, and thereby silence and professionally destroy, global warming skeptics:

This was the danger of always criticizing the skeptics for not publishing in the “peer-reviewed literature.” Obviously, they found a solution to that–take over a journal! So what do we do about this? I think we have to stop considering “Climate Research” [the name of the journal in question] as a legitimate peer-reviewed journal.

Perhaps we should encourage our colleagues in the climate research community to no longer submit to, or cite papers in, this journal. We would also need to consider what we tell or request of our more reasonable colleagues who currently sit on the editorial board…What do others think?

No subtlety here. But then, religious zealotry rarely is.

As the leaked East Anglia emails prove, it is plain for the world to see the fraud behind the proselytizing of man-made global warming theory.

Reflecting this dirty little secret, the Church even re-branded its dogma from “global warming” to “climate change” to provide necessary linguistic cover for the recent evidence that global temperatures have stabilized or dropped. But don’t hold your breath for the science-priests of Global Warming to recant.

After all, at stake are their careers, reputations, hundreds of billions of dollars in research grants, and frequent junkets to five-star resorts in Aspen, Bahamas and Cortina for “climate conferences.” Heaven forbid!

Besides, Climate gate is the biggest “crisis” manufactured by statists to date. And it’s working. Statists seek power and control over the individual, and have successfully attack DDT, fluorocarbons, incandescent light bulbs, herbicides that reduce crop blight, genetically modified crop seed that would allow starving nations to feed themselves, and many other wonderful inventions, all under the pretext of environmentalism.

The Sin of Industrialism, spread by Capitalist Demons, threatens the world to burn in the eternal fire of catastrophic global warming. It is time to repent, to exorcise those Demons, also time for the industrial world to fast and give alms. Enter Copenhagen.

In less than 10 days, the Teleprompter President heads to Copenhagen, ostensibly to cheer on the Copenhagen climate treaty, but in reality only to affirm the 21st century scientific equivalent of the Ptolemaic geocentric universe.

The Copenhagen treaty: What will it require of signatories? Here is a summary by Lord Christopher Monckton, former science advisor to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

“And what it says is this, that a world government is going to be created. The word “government” actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity.

The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to third world countries, in satisfaction of what is called, coyly, “climate debt” – because we’ve been burning CO2 and they haven’t. We’ve been screwing up the climate and they haven’t. And the third purpose of this new entity, this government, is enforcement.…

And the trouble is this; if that treaty is signed, if your Constitution says that it takes precedence over your Constitution (sic), and you can’t resign from that treaty unless you get agreement from all the other state parties – And because you’ll be the biggest paying country, they’re not going to let you out of it.

So, thank you, America. You were the beacon of freedom to the world. It is a privilege merely to stand on this soil of freedom while it is still free. But, in the next few weeks, unless you stop it, your president will sign your freedom, your democracy, and your prosperity away forever. And neither you nor any subsequent government you may elect will have any power whatsoever to take it back.

That is how serious it is. I’ve read the treaty. I’ve seen this stuff about [world] government and climate debt and enforcement. They are going to do this to you whether you like it or not. [emphasis added]

Never mind that climate change data has been doctored by fraudulent scientists who fudged data to support pre-conceived conclusions.

Never mind the concerted efforts by those same scientific frauds to repress research discounting mankind’s effect on the temperature of the earth.

None of that matters because the real reason for all of this was political in nature – to create a cult of climatology so as to coerce the masses into giving up their God-given freedoms willingly.

And we’re coming too late to the party. Our elected representatives rarely listen to us. Millions marched on Washington this summer.

Last month as many as 40,000 marched to Washington to protest. And still our government does not heed us.

Many Americans know about the healthcare bill. Far fewer people know about this fraud and the stunning ramifications for the U.S. if Obama seeks ratification of this treaty.

Just like healthcare, Obama will slip this by an economically shell-shocked population in the nick of time, before they wake and see what the thief has stolen from them in the middle of the night.

This is Obama’s true Ascension: sacrificing the United States’ wealth to save the third world on Copenhagen’s altar of Climatology in atonement for Original carbon-based Sin.

There’s one question still unanswered: will the Climate Messiah allot room on Air Force One for the Most Reverend Al Gore to join him as the world witnesses Obama’s Ascension into the glory of Copenhagen?

Naaah. Why share the photo op?
