Can War With Russia Be Avoided? VIDEO Interview

During 2016 CIA director John Brennan and FBI director James Comey, together with the corrupt Democrat party, began orchestrating Russiagate in order to prevent Trump from reducing the risk of nuclear war by normalizing relations with Russia. President Trump tried to nip a New Cold War in the bud, but that was not in the interest of the power and profit of the military/security complex which desperately needs the “Russian threat” as its raison d’être.

Stephen Cohen, myself and a few others expressed concern that the tensions between the two nuclear powers were being driven to more dangerous highs than ever existed during the 20th century Cold War. Many websites joined in debunking the orchestrated Russiagate fabrication.

To discredit these voices, a new website, PropOrNot, suddenly appeared with a list of 200 “Russian agents/dupes.” Those of us who had raised red flags about Russiagate and the worsening of tensions were on the list. The Washington Post gave the accusation credibility by reporting the PropOrNot accusation that those who dissented from a hostile policy toward Russia were “Putin agents.”

A number of the falsely accused websites were intimidated and abandoned the truth. CounterPunch went even further. It dropped its best and most incisive writers—people such as Mike Whitney and Diana Johnstone. CounterPunch, which had once collected, published, and marketed a collection of my essays as a book, suddenly discovered that it preferred fiction over fact. Other websites that had religiously reproduced all of my columns now became selective about which parts of the official narrative they would permit to be examined on their sites. This was, perhaps, the beginning of the movement to de-platform all who challenge the narrative.

Text that follows is a letter to the editor received by The Telegraph (8 October 2020):

Does no one in the Government hear the screams and whimpers of this tormented nation, amid the unemployment, the loneliness, the heartbreak, the fear, the poverty, the despair, the cruelty caused by blind deference to unproved theories?

If an enemy were to inflict such damage on the United Kingdom, they would be destroyed. Who will call this Government to account?

It is as if someone who, to kill a hornet, sets off a bomb in a house – and in the ruins says it was the only way.

Covid may be here to stay. There are many unpleasant diseases. Mortality is 100 per cent in the long run.

I am 80, and it is no business of the Government to tell me whether or not to kiss my grandchildren, or whom I may invite into my house.

It is time to dismantle the grisly apparatus of anti-social distancing and to pick up the pieces of life. Where are you, parliamentarians? People of Britain, reclaim your freedom!

If you’re trying to follow the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd – the 2020 killing that re-invigorated the #BlackLivesMatter movement and sparked worldwide protests against police violence – there’s unfortunately not a lot of interest in Australian media. But there is plenty of content on Youtube if you’re prepared to go looking, including live streams to the ongoing court case. It began just over a week ago and is set down for at least a month.

The testimony has so far been compelling, albeit gut-wrenching. If you’ve never quite worked out why Floyd’s death sparked so much anger, then following the trial will almost certainly get you there. There’s numerous videos from bystanders showing Chauvin strangle the life out of a man (of whom there’s no evidence he committed a crime), including continuing to apply severe pressure to Floyd’s neck for more than three minutes after he passed out.

And if you’re looking to get up to speed quickly on the issue, this video from Dr Todd Grande, a licensed mental health counsellor and former associate professor at Wilmington University, is a very good option. Grande weighs in on the basic facts of the case, but he also provides a scientific perspective about the personalities on trial.

OBEY: Americans vaccinated for coronavirus to be monitored and tracked by Google and Oracle for the next two years

Before leaving the White House, the Trump administration quietly revealed that Americans vaccinated for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) under Operation Warp Speed (OWS) will be monitored and tracked by Google and Oracle for at least the next two years.

This “public-private partnership,” as Trump’s “vaccine czar” Moncef Slaoui described it, allows for Chinese virus vaccine recipients in the United States to be surveilled using “incredibly precise … tracking systems” that Slaoui says will “ensure that patients each get two doses of the same vaccine and to monitor them for adverse health effects.”

Both Google and Oracle were contracted to manage this “tracking system,” though Slaoui did not specify their precise roles beyond helping to “collect and track vaccine data.”

One day before The Wall Street Journal published a story about this, The New York Times published one of its own, calling the technology a “very active pharmacovigilance surveillance system.” This is what Slaoui called it about a month prior during an interview with the journal Science, though he apparently left out the word “surveillance.”

The texts of the liturgy of the Sacred Triduum strike us, like the lash of a whip, for the crude brutality of the torments to which the Lord was subjected by the will of the Sanhedrin, at the order of the Roman procurator. The crowd, instigated by the high priests, invokes the innocent blood of the Son of God upon themselves and their children, denying in the space of just a few days the triumph which had been attributed to Him at His entrance into Jerusalem. The praises and cries of Hosanna turn into shouts of Crucify him, and the palm branches become whips and clubs. How much crowds can disappoint: they are capable of giving honor with the same conviction with which shortly afterwards they decree the death sentence.

Who are the protagonists and those responsible for this condemnation? Judas, one of the Twelve Apostles, a thief and a traitor, who for thirty pieces of silver hands the Master over to the ecclesiastical authority to have him arrested. The Sanhedrin, that is, the religious authority of the Old Law, which is still in force at the moment of the Passion. The false witnesses, who are either paid or else seek notoriety, who accuse Our Lord, contradicting one another. The people, or better the crowd that is ready for demonstrations in the square and lets itself be led by a few skilled manipulators. The Procurator Pontius Pilate, the representative of the Emperor in Palestine, who issues an unjust sentence but with official authority. And the whole jumble of nameless subordinates who rage with unprecedented cruelty against an innocent man, for the sole reason that this is expected of them: the Temple guards, the soldiers of the Sanhedrin, the Roman soldiers, the violent mob.
