On July 29, 2009, the House passed HR 2749: Food Safety Enhancement Act of 2009

"To amend the (1938 as amended) Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to improve the safety of food in the global market, and for other purposes."

On March 3, 2009, S. 510: FDA Food Safety Modernization Act was introduced, the Senate's version of the House bill. It stalled after being assailed as anti-consumer and small farmer as well as failing to help food safety. In fact, like the House bill, it's cover for greater industry consolidation, destructive to consumer welfare.

Terror Conference In Tehran Will Fall Short Of The Mark

When President Ahmadinejad announced, before the United Nations that most people in the world believe that the U.S. government was involved in the planning and execution of the 9/11 attacks, he told the truth. In America, groups have been popping up for years, not “fringe” types, but military and professional organizations, architects, engineers, pilots, intelligence officers.

There is a vast underground that is never reported, never spoken of in the news and continually threatened. The FBI and Homeland Security have infiltrated these groups, illegal surveillance has been on a massive scale and, as the groups have grown and their reach has touched millions of Americans, the government, in the usual whispers, is talking about mass arrests, “unplugging” the internet, all those things the militia movements of the 90′s said would happen.

Outside the United States, not in the Middle East, but Canada, Europe, Latin America and the Far East, finding people who accept the Bush and Obama administration’s “party line” about “box cutters and hijackers” is difficult. No one wants to risk the public scorn of seeming like an imbecile.

However, back here in the “good ole’ USA,” even comedian Jon Stewart, normally an outspoken critic of government insanity, has agreed to lead a march on Washinton to quell “rumors” about 9/11, rumors of wrongdoing by people he despises.

What is the difference? Why do those outside the United States see things do differently? The answer is freedom of press, the first of the hasty additions to the constitution, a guarantee provided for in the 1st Amendment. There had been assaults on freedom of the press before, particularly during wartime but never anything on the scale seen after 9/11. Across the board, not just the news but even movies and television shows, fiction, censored, propaganda, peddling ignorance, fear and screaming “conspiracy theory” at anyone trying to get word out.

Reflections in a Petri Dish

Control the perception of the past and you can guide the direction of the future in the mind of humanity as it tries to escape it or…. runs back to embrace it however you choose. This is the key power that the Chosen People faction uses. It was the most important part of getting into Iraq and, of course, Israel and accounts for the eradication of Palestinian names from all the towns they swallowed, along with their control of so called ‘holy places’. It’s not about spirituality. It’s not even about religion. It’s about controlling perception in order to maintain possession.

This is why they tried to engineer their holocaust in the First World War, which didn’t work and went back into it again in the Second World War and why they were contributing sponsors of both in the first place. When you control how things look, based on a manufactured presentation of what happened, you have an argument for government policies to follow into the future for your own benefit. Then you can come up with things like a kosher tax on products; if you own the companies in the first place you get yourself a double dip. This is just one more way that such a small part of the population manages to enrich itself to such a degree. It’s like throwing a punch at someone and then crying out in pain as you deliver it.

It’s important to keep this in mind. This is how religions get perverted; how laws get established and how easier access to routes of commerce can be obtained is to give the impression that something unfair happened to you and it could happen to everyone else too; except that you did it in the first place …and you make up such a tiny part of the population. The best way to get far more than your share of the rights, when you have no majority claim based on presence is to make it look like somebody is always picking on you anyway.

Bad shit happens in the world and it happens to much larger groups of people so… civilizations must have rules along which to operate for both moral and functional reasons. This doesn’t just apply to a small group of mercenary carpet baggers, it applies to any union of psychopaths who want to go into any kind of business.

When the horrors of the sadistic, near necrophile behaviour of U.S., personnel at Abu Ghraib prison, west of Baghdad, first showed the tip-of-the-iceberg-lie of "liberation": cruelty, depravity and bestiality on a scale which apparently dwarfed all that Saddam Hussein's regime had been accused of, President George W. Bush said: " This does not represent the America I know."

He should have. It was under the watch of his father, George Bush, Snr., that in 1991, thousands of Iraqi conscripts were buried alive in southern Iraq, by US army tanks and bulldozers. "What you saw was a bunch of buried trenches, with peoples arms and things sticking out of them", said Colonel Anthony Moreno who participated.(1)

Sixteen years earlier, in 1975, Bush Snr., with Henry Kissinger and Vernon Walters, set up "Plan Condor", under which CIA-enlisted exiles, orchestrated : ".. the torture and assassination of leftist leaders (under which) Latin American military rulers, also 'disappeared' thousands of their opponents." (2)

This followed in the bloody footsteps of the CIA 1966 Phoenix Project, designed to "cleanse" South Viet Nam of Communists (Viet Cong.) "Specially designed torture chambers were constructed in all forty four provinces. Rape of women suspects, electric shock, water torture, and hanging from ceilings were standard methods during interrogations." (3) Further: "The U.S.'s Phoenix Program killed tens of thousands of Vietnamese.

Vietnamese prisoners were thrown into 'tiger cages' - built by Texas military conractor RMK-BRJ, the forerunner of Halliburton subsidiary KBR .. and routinely tortured." (See 2.) Halliburton has, of course, hit financial bonanzas in Iraq and Afghanistan, along the occasional slightly bumpy legal path.

Recently we had a rather spectacular statement from a Jewish woman-activist, who some ten years ago, with grants from the Swedish government, founded a Jewish 'study-institute' with the name "Paideia". Barbara Lerner Spectre believes that Jews have a special responsibility, and play a leading role in the dismantlement of the traditional European society by using multiculturalism in order to accomplish this. Unless Jews fulfill this role, then Europe will be lost, Barbara Lerner Spectre claims. She seems to be involved in rather shockingly subversive activities. This woman can be heard saying in the interview:

"Europe has not yet learned how to be multicultural. And I think we [Jews] are going to be part of the throes of that transformation, which must take place. Europe is not going to be the monolithic societies [sic] that they once were in the last century. Jews are going to be at the center of that. It's a huge transformation for Europe to make. They are now going into a multi-cultural mode, and Jews will be resented because of our leading role. But without that leading role, and without that transformation, Europe will not survive."
