Go, Palestine!

Outside this biggest of continents, no one gives a flying matzo, but the Asian Cup is on. It’s heartening to see Palestine competing. Though barely existing, it’s not bad on the pitch. Last year, it beat Bahrain, tied Indonesia and lost to Australia by just one goal. Though it succumbed to Iran 4-1 three days ago, it should best Hong Kong on 1/23/24. Go Palestine!

Though it had no real chance against Iran, Palestine won everyone’s heart. Al Jazeera:

💬 Fans from dozens of different nationalities who call Qatar home came dressed in Palestine shirts or draped in its flag and keffiyehs.

They danced to “Dammi Falastini” as the popular unofficial Palestinian anthem was played outside the stadium and watched in awe as a Palestinian dabke group performed on a stage outside the turnstiles.

Symbolic support can only go so far, so kudos to the Lebanese and Yemeni for risking much to engage genocidal Jews. Rather surprisingly, South Africa, too, has stepped up. At the International Court of Justice, this country with almost no Muslims or Arabs has the pariah state cornered. Sensing defeat, Netanyahu has already declared his nation would ignore any judgement against it. What else is new? Israel has always scoffed laws.

Not only that, it’s eternally motivated by revenge. Getting even against trumped up wrongs feeds its sick soul. Even when orchestrating or executing genocides, Jews still claim victimhood. Indignant sadism has become their trademark. Another is their targeting of entire groups, be it Slavs, Arabs, kulaks, “reactionaries” or simply whites, though the last have proven to be their most abject slaves.

Bless the South Africans! At the Hague on 1/11/24, Tembeka Ngcukaitobi cited this Netanyahu statement to Jewish soldiers, “Remember what Amalek has done to you.” As Ngcukaitobi explained, it’s an incitement to genocide:

💬 This refers to the Biblical command by God to Saul for the retaliatory destruction of an entire group of people known as the Amalekites: “Put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.”

The genocidal invocation to Amalek was anything but idle. It was repeated by Mr Netanyahu in a letter to the Israeli armed forces on 3 November 2023.

The Deputy Speaker of the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament, has called for the erasure of the Gaza Strip from the face of the earth.

The Defense Force agrees. On 9 October, the Defense Minister Yoav Gallant gave a ‘situation update’ to the army where he said that as Israel was “imposing a complete siege on Gaza”; “there would be no electricity, no food, no water, no fuel.” “Everything would be closed,” because Israel is “fighting human animals.”

Speaking to troops on the Gaza border, he instructed them that he has “released all the restraints” and that “Gaza won't return to what it was before. We will eliminate everything… we will reach all places.” Eliminate everything. Reach all places. Without any restraints.

Backing South Africa’s case, an Irish member of the European Parliament, Blinne Ní Ghrálaigh, added:

💬 On average, 247 Palestinians are being killed and are at risk of being killed each day, many of them literally blown to pieces. They include 48 mothers each day. Two every hour. And over 117 children each day, leading UNICEF to call Israel’s actions a war on children. Entire multigenerational families would be obliterated. And yet, more Palestinian children would become WCNSF. Wounded child. No surviving family. The terrible new acronym born out of Israel’s genocidal assault on the Palestinian population in Gaza.

People worldwide are waking up. Soon, South Africa will also drag the US and UK to court. We must hope this Axis of Evil will soon be neutralized.

Also this week, a Slovak diplomat, Miroslav Wlachovský, issued this warning, “If you do not stop supplying weapons to Ukraine and killing Slavs, we, Slavs, will unite as brothers, and I believe we will unite and destroy Western Europe to the ground.”

On 3/9/22, I already wrote, “As Many Dead Slavs as Possible,” so even a Vietnamese bum could see what was happening. No diplomat, I could be blunt.

There’s a Vietnamese saying, “Giặc đến nhà đàn bà phải đánh.” With the enemy at your door, even women must fight. In much of the West, though, many men have rolled onto their backs or have their bruised asses up in the air. Maybe it’s not too late.

Who are you kidding? The West’s depths of absurdity are truly bottomless. Among visitors to Jeffrey Epstein’s child rape island was Stephen Hawking. Maybe the famed scientist just wanted a “girlfriend experience,” and Bill Clinton just needed to hold hands with a Monica Lewinsky lookalike.

As for the “leader of the free world,” no coffee table is complete without Biden’s greatest hits. Among my favorites, “If Robert E. Lee had been in Afghanistan, we would have won. Anyway, I’m telling you too much.”

No, you haven’t, Joe. Keep them coming! Your words are perfect for America at this moment.

Here in the Far East, I’d rather be left alone to sketch, doodle and snap, so here’s a quickie.

It’s 5:53AM at Front Beach, so still dark. Alone, a white haired woman in pajamas is busy scooping sand with a mini shovel made of plastic. Since she’s a giggly girl again, it must be 1965 or so. Here then, there was also much turbulence. Building no castle, she’s only digging her own grave, or yours, or mine. Behind her bobs a cheerful green and red boat, with eyes painted on its prow. Crossing that Sea of Forgetfulness, we will know where we’re going.

Until then, we’re free to kick a soccer ball, scoop sand or stare at toylike boats that bring us much deliciousness. May Gazans, those who survive, do the same soon.
