Permalink Afghanistan says over 3,000 complaints about vote

Afghanistan's electoral watchdog said on Tuesday that it has received over 3,000 complaints about irregularities in the run-up to Saturday's parliamentary election and on polling day itself. The Electoral Complaints Commission (ECC) said 1,388 complaints had been received specifically about election day irregularities -- which could affect the results -- ahead of a 4 pm (1130 GMT deadline) deadline for submissions.ECC commissioner and spokesman Ahmad Zia Rafaat told AFP that on top of those complaints, another 1,700 had been lodged relating to problems ahead of the vote.

There are concerns that the ECC could be hard-pressed to handle the volume of complaints, which are expected to rise as preliminary results are posted on its website.More than 2,500 candidates stood for the 249 seats in parliament's lower house, or Wolesi Jirga, and many of the losers are expected to lodge complaints. Permalink Lieberman: Peace talks must reassess Israeli-Arabs' right to citizenship

Israeli FM's "no loyalty, no citizenship" campaign: Israeli-Arabs (1/5th of Israels population, not including Palestinians under occupation) who aren't willing to swear allegiance to Israel as a uniquely Jewish state, could lose the citizenship.

[Editor's Comment:] The Germans came, the police, and they started banging houses: "Raus, raus, raus, Juden raus...." Now the Zionist Jews are saying the same: "Arabs Out!". Some of them (JDL) have even sunk to this level: "Arabs to the Gas Chambers!"

Permalink Globalists Push World Transaction Tax At UN Summit

Globalists representing 60 nations will meet at the UN this coming week to push a tax on world financial transactions in the name of solving poverty and climate change, formally launching a massive program to bankrupt the middle class and enrich the coffers of global government. "Spearheaded by European Union countries, the so-called “innovative financing” proposal envisages a tax of 0.005 percent (five cents per $1,000), which experts estimate could produce more than $30 billion a year worldwide for priority causes," reports CNS News. As Ira Stoll, editor of FutureCapitalism.com, points out, new taxes always start off small so as to not be resisted by the people forced to pay them, and are then always gradually increased. "When people suggest taxes, they always start out ‘small," said Stoll.

The team filmed the animals, normally found in jungle habitats, more than 4,000 metres high in the Himalayas. Experts say the discovery could make it easier to create a conservation corridor, linking populations of the endangered felines across Asia. Jon Kay reports.

Permalink 84-year-old vet suffers broken neck after police takedown

Talk about overkill by the cop in question. He broke the poor old mans neck for God's sake. -This has become an epidemic of many cops abusing their power. We see often how the cowards hiding behind a badge get off on going after those that are the most vulnerable among us. What a nightmare these animals must be to live with, I can only imagine. This cop needs to be stripped of his badge and off the streets, period. He's a danger to every citizen that dares to question his so-called authority or happens to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. He's a bully with a badge and we all know that is not a good mix.

Permalink Zionist shill Lindsey Graham says U.S. must prepare to attack Iran

Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina said Monday that the United States must be prepared to use military force to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon — and added that the last-resort step should be taken with the goal of overthrowing Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Graham, a military lawyer and a senior Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, became the first senator to support direct U.S. military intervention in Iran, saying it should not involve ground troops but be launched by U.S. warplanes and ships. Graham was a prominent supporter of the Iraq war, though he criticized Bush and former Pentagon chief Donald Rumsfeld for sending too few U.S. troops.

"If you use military force against Iran, you've opened up Pandora's box," Graham told the American Enterprise Institute in Washington. "If you allow Iran to get a nuclear weapon, you've emptied Pandora's box. I'd rather open up Pandora's box than empty it."

Here's more Graham:

"Jerusalem is not a settlement. No government in Israel will ever look at Jerusalem as a settlement! No government in the United States should ever look at Jerusalem as a settlement! It is the undivided capital of the State of Israel. It is the eternal home of the Jewish faith. And it is now time to move onto other issues." (The Palestine Chronicle)
