Alan Dershowitz on Tuba

Gilad Atzmon

Dershowitz is not only a remarkable liar and slanderer, but also an extreme opponent of elementary civil rights” ~ Noam Chomsky

The following is an analytical yet amusing glimpse into the deceitful and psychological nature of Zionist propaganda as manifested by arch Zionist Alan Dershowitz. Dershowitz wrote last week,

“in a recent post, Atzmon said that he would be willing to play alongside David Duke. What a duet!”

This little insignificant anecdote brought a smile to my face because in my text I was actually positively considering joining a new healing musical adventure along together with Alan Dershowitz on tuba and David Duke on trumpet. Here are my words,

“I really do not understand why Alan Dershowitz believes himself to be morally superior to Duke. Dershowitz is a Zionist Jewish supremacist, he is a world leading advocate of a racist and expansionist ideology, namely Zionism. And yet, I wouldn’t say NO to an invitation for a musical gathering along together with Dershowitz on tuba and Duke playing the trumpet, just because I believe that music brings people together.”

The text is plainly clear. There is no room for misinterpretation. It was not a ‘duet’ which I was willing to join but actually a ‘trio’ that would include Alan Dershowitz alongside David Duke. Dershowitz lied again. Instead of just politely declining and admitting that he is ‘no good’ on tuba, he followed once again his falsehearted tactics-first he put words in my mouth and then interpreted the words he himself invented. “But that's exactly where Atzmon belongs,” wrote Dershowitz - “in the company of neo-Nazis, Holocaust deniers, homophobes, misogynists, sexists and other bigots.”

If Dershowitz was an intellectual, which he isn’t or an artist which he certainly isn’t, one could have argued that this kind of behaviour suggests that the elder Zionist may live in a cute phantasmic solipsistic universe. If Dershowitz wasn’t aware of his deceitful actions, he could have been classified as a psychopath. But I actually, tend to believe that there is a certain level of awareness behind Dershowitz actions. And the conclusion is, indeed, very concerning, we are dealing with an inherently dishonest person, a ‘remarkable liar’, as Noam Chomsky describes him along together many other intellectual and humanists who have reached the same conclusion.

US and Israel in “lockstep” against Iran

Peter Symonds

STEPOLOGY: In lockstep against Iran? There are all kinds of 'steps', of course, so what's a poor guy supposed to think? Let's see now. We already knew about doorsteps, and yeah, footsteps too. Our music teacher taught us about whole steps, so we've got that one pinned down as well. And over the years, politicians obviously have made certain missteps of course (hard not to notice), getting them into all kinds of trouble, that's for sure. So we already knew about that. But wait, there's more. Now Obama's talkin' about lockstep, right? As far as we can tell, that would be some kind of marching step. That would include step forward and even half step march (too slow for Netanyahu). And then there's something called goose steps...the Nazis had a thing about that, didn't they? So that's all military stuff, you see. And it sounds like war, doesn't it? Sure does. Like a step backward. A big one. ~ The Editor.

The danger of a US/Israeli attack on Iran was made clear in comments by US President Barack Obama to NBC News on Sunday. Obama not only repeated the mantra that “all options are on the table,” but added that the US was working with Israel “in lockstep as we proceed to try to solve this, hopefully diplomatically.”

Publicly, the Obama administration insists that it is seeking a “diplomatic solution” by imposing crippling oil sanctions on Iran, designed to force it to the negotiating table on US terms. At the same time, however, the White House is coordinating closely with Israel as it prepares military strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The Washington Post reported last week that US Defence Secretary Leon Panetta believed there was a “strong likelihood” that Israel would strike Iran in April, May or June. While he did not confirm the statement, Panetta did not repudiate it.

Obama downplayed the likelihood of a pre-emptive Israeli attack on Iran, declaring: “I don’t think Israel has made a decision on what they need to do.” However, he also declared: “I’ve been very clear: we’re going to do everything we can to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.”

Asked if Israel would consult Washington, Obama provided no direct answer, but emphasised that the US and Israel “have closer military and intelligence consultation… than we’ve ever had.” Significantly, the US president did not oppose what would be an act of war by Israel. Nor did he suggest that the US would use its considerable influence over Israel to veto such action.

While tactical differences might exist over the timing of an attack, Obama’s declaration that the US is “in lockstep” with Israel is a commitment to march together down the road to war against Iran.

Israeli Political Prisoner Khader Adnan Near Death

Stephen Lendman

Khader Adnan Mohammad Musa: Israeli Prisoner of Conscience

Thousands of Palestinian political prisoners languish in Israeli prisons. Virtually daily, more arrests are made. Those incarcerated face torture, appalling prison conditions, and other forms of abuse.

Some react in response. Khader did his way by refusing food for multiple reasons, including:

• his rights and identity were violated;
• his lawless arrest and abusive detention; and
• Israel's illegal administrative detention system.

Addameer: Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association calls him a "prisoner at risk."

In fact, by using his stomach as a weapon against injustice beyond what's tolerable for most people, he's barely clinging to life. In his 51st day without food (as of February 6), he's Palestine's longest ever hunger striker.

According to Physicians for Human Rights-Israel, after 42 days without food, individuals begin losing their hearing and vision. They also suffer bleeding in the gums, intestines and esophagus. The body gradually shuts down. After 45 days, death's risked due to vascular system collapse and/or cardiac arrest. Nearly a week later, he could expire anytime.

Rallies on his behalf display posters of his image with the statement: "Dignity above food." A supportive Facebook page headlines, "We are all Sheikh Khader Adnan(s)."

Throughout his ordeal, he reacted to his lawless arrest, indefinite detention without charge, and abusive interrogations by silence and refusing food.

During a third judicial review last week, a military prosecutor asked a military judge before a lawless military tribunal to detain him uncharged based on spurious allegations of subversive activity, citing secret evidence unavailable to counsel.

In Occupied Palestine, Israel's kangaroo court system is rigged to convict. Accusation alone determines guilt. Justice not only is denied, it's mocked, spat on and trampled.

Think-Tanks Explained

Tony Cartalucci

Image: "Your nation's policy has been brought to you by...." These represent just some of the corporate sponsors of just one single think-tank (the Brookings Institution) that creates both foreign and domestic policy for the United States, extra-legally beyond the nation's legislative branch, as well as the blueprints for America's future wars of conquest. Afterward, all that remains is for "elected representatives" to rubber stamp it and for the corporate-media to sell it to an unsuspecting public.

Or, Where National Policy Comes From.

January 12, 2012 - I was shocked to see the corporate-financier Lowy Institute of Australia tweet a story explaining the ins-and-outs of think tanks. I was equally shocked to actually read the article, titled "Devaluing the Think Tank," written by Tevi Troy and published in "National Affairs." It describes what is basically an extra-legal process where national policy is not produced by our elected representatives within the legislative branch, but rather in these policy think-tanks and in some cases, even described as being "marketed."

I was impressed by the depth at which Troy covered the inner workings of policy think-tanks and was only disappointed in three respects. One, Troy never mentions who actually funds and directs these think-tanks. Two, because of the first omission, the illusion that these think-tanks are aligned along and driven by political parties is created. And three, Troy whitewashes, and even defends think-tanks and their role in policy making that should remain exclusively within the realm of elected representatives and the legislative branch.

However, these omissions are easily remedied by reading "Naming Names: Your Real Government" and "Clinton Turns to Naked Corporate-Fascism" where the real forces driving this think-tank industry described by Troy is fully explained. While reading these three articles together is not going to be "light reading," those who succeed in doing so will walk away fully enlightened of how policy, both domestic and foreign, is created throughout the dominion of Wall Street and London.

Understanding how utterly futile faith in our representative form of government is when our "representatives" are simply handed policy by established think-tanks funded by a combine of billion-dollar multinational corporations is the first step in devising viable solutions to correcting this enormous imbalance of power.
